Double Mini Pouf Hairstyle Instructions
This is one of my favorite casual hair styles at the moment because it’s quick, easy and kind of looks like kitty ears.
Start by brushing and dividing your hair into two sections.
Take a small section of hair above your ear on one side and brush it upwards.
Twist it slightly towards the middle like this.
Fold it backwards so the twist sits on your head.
The more you twist the more the top will point into a little triangle ear shape.
It helps to have slightly dirty hair so it has texture to hold the shape.
Pin it in place with one bobby pin pushed up the middle back to front and one horizontal so they form an X shape.
Repeat on the other side.
Twist into the middle again so it’s the opposite of the first one.
Give them a good spray so they stay in place and you’re all finished.
So cute and it only takes around 5 minutes.
Now release your inner kitty.

How To Do A 5 Minute Bow Hairstyle Instructions
This is a really quick simple version of the bow style hair.
The real version is more polished but also takes longer.
Start by putting your hair in a high ponytail, don’t pull the hair all the way through on the last loop.
Leave the tail at the front.
Divide the loop in half down the middle.
Pin the tail section down in front of the hair band.
Pull the tail backwards over the top of the split loop.
Pin it at the back below the hair toe and hide the ends under one of the loops with another pin.
Now fluff it out the side loops.
If you want them to be stiffer, you should fluff the bottom part towards the top.
The size difference will hold it up.
Make sure to hair spray it so it stays in place.
Done!
Don’t be surprised if this attracts quite a bit of attention.
Of course it doesn’t survive super rainy days.

Hairstyle Tutorials, Morning Make Up and New Product Reviews -Round Up

I’ve been filming videos like crazy while my hair is all non-re-growth-y 😉 Two hair tutorials and one Morning Make Up Video. I really want to edit the V-Logs I’ve filmed as well but they’re quite time consuming so I haven’t been able to yet. I should be able to do one this week though!

Morning Make Up is Pink and Blue Glitter Stripes ^_^

Super simple twisted bun tutorial…

Big puffy bun tutorial which requires no teasing…

This week also introduces the Currently Testing section on the left side bar. I want to do a good job at reviewing all of the products I’ve received through events like ABBW, ABC and MBBE so I’ll be doing mini reviews in that section. They won’t pop up on the main blog or via RSS but once a week I’ll include any I’ve done in the round up here or if I’ve used them in any of the make up videos I’ll post links there too as I go.

So to start off this week I’ve reviewed:

– The Face Shop Pearl Collagen Mask

Carmex Moisture plus ultra hydrating balm

 Benefit The Porefessional

Back to work for me now, hope you all had a good weekend. Today’s the last day to nominate for the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blogger Awards too so I’m off to put in my favorite blogs and cross my fingers for them!

Puffy Bun With No Teasing Hair Instructions
This is a very easy way to get volume in your bun without teasing/backcombing and damaging it.
Start with your hair in a high ponytail.
Shake out your hair and ruffle it with your fingers to puff it up messily.
If you have thin hair you can add some volumising spray and shuffle it out more.
Roughly twist it into a bun.
Don’t twist too much of it will lose volume.
Pin it all in place.
If it doesn’t look right then fluff it out more and try again.
Give it a bit of a shake to see if it’s sturdy enough or needs more pins.
Hairspray the hell out of it.
Now you just need to decorate it with a pretty accessory like a bow and you’re finished.
This style looks like it takes more effort than it does!
I hope this was a useful video, please check out the blog post linked in the description for more information and tutorials.

Simple Twisted Bun instructions
This is pretty much the simplest hairstyle I know.
it’s great for summer or covering the fact that you haven’t washed your hair in a while.
Brush out your hair and clip back any bits you want to keep down like your fringe.
Brush it up into a very high ponytail and secure with a hairband.
Pull the ponytail out to the side and twist it backwards.
Brush it to make the end result smooth or leave it messy so it’s bigger.
Curl it around the base of the ponytail until you run out of hair.
Secure with a couple of pins and tuck in the ends.
Add a pretty comb or clip to finish.
You could add a ribbon or coloured extension to the twist for an extra point of interest as well.
I hope this was a useful video, please check out the blog post linked in the description for more information and tutorials.
