A new segment I’m trying out where in I show my morning make up routine for various days and chat about what I’m doing that day. Not really a tutorial, more of a random girly chat while we get ready together in the bathroom 😉
Today’s style is a nice bright look which starts with a wash of beige and a touch of pink. Hope you enjoy 😀

Time for another random morning make up video in which I do my make up and we chat.
Today we’re doing a bright white look.
Foundation first as usual.
A generous coat of mascara next.
Today I’m testing my new lighting set up.
White shimmer pencil on the inner corner and waterline.
It’s much brighter than the old one but I haven’t quite gotten the camera settings right yet.
A beige shadow with gold flecks all over the lid as a base.
I’ve been collecting things for the perfect set up over the last year but it’s slow going.
Light pink shadow on the outer half on the lid.
It would be very cool to have a whole room dedicated to filming and blogging.
Shimmer white highlighter under the brows.
I’ll add that to my house hunting list.
To give it some depth I added some plum to the outer corners in a pointed C shape.
At the moment I have a little dressing table and I do my blogging from a table at the couch.
And blend it all together.
It’s pretty comfy but it would be great to have room for a big desk.
Eyeliner time.
This time I used a liner with a purple shine to it, very pretty.
Or a big table for sewing.
Me sewing table is next to the tv and it doubles as a photography space.
Some nice big false lashes top off the look.
I’m very lucky to have decent floor space to lay out sewing projects for cutting.
Light pink blush suits this look perfectly as does a nice pink lipgloss.
I’ll add my requests to my completely unrealistic “when I’m a millionaire” list.
Of course another coat of mascara couldn’t hurt.
Give it time and hard work and I’ll get there!
I hope this was a useful video, please check out the blog post linked in the description for more information and tutorials.
Thanks so much for watching.
Bye!

3D Japanese Nail Art Pastel Leopard Print and Bows
Clara H Nail Art
Leopard Print Bling!
Today I got my nails filled and redone by Clara H.
First the old jewels and 3D parts were removed.
Poor Bergamot!
The polish was removed too.
Cuticles treated too and the old nails buffed down.
Next the bare nail was filled in with acrylic and shaped into place.
They were buffed to a nice smooth finish.
Of course this all came with a side of girly chat!
Top coating for protection next.
Then it was all about the design.
I picked pastel base.
The pastel colours were painted on as a base.
Cute colours!
Clara painted the leopard print with pastel acrylic paint.
To make the leopard print style she used light brown random splotches.
The darker brown to outline them.
Of course, that was just the start. Acrylic bows first.
To make the bows she used two large balls of acrylic.
Made dents in the middle and added a small bow for the middle tie.
After the bows were complete it was bling time!
The large pieces of bling were held on with clear acrylic.
After the big pieces, small damantes and pearls were added around them.
Lastly a top coat to protect it all.
I love that they are blingy but not too over the top.
Of course with nails this cute we wanted to share them!
So beautiful. Thank you Clara!
I hope you enjoyed watching these beautiful nails come together.
Clara is super talented so if you’re in Melbourne make sure to check her out at Tsumiki Design.
Soon clara is going to make nail tutorial videos on her channel so make sure you check it out and subscribe with the links in the description.

A quick video on how I use baking soda in between washes as a cheap and effective dry shampoo. It’s kinda messy but it works well and of course you would wash it all out when you wash your hair regularly! The lights make my hair extra shiny looking at the end so I probably should have used a bit more this time XD

How To Use Baking Soda As Dry Shampoo Instructions
Morning!
Today I’ll show you how I deal with oily roots in between washes: baking soda.
My hair takes a long time to dry so I can’t always wash it when I want to.
In between washes if I have oily roots I use baking sode as a dry shampoo.
Easy and cheap!
Using it couldn’t be simpler.
Pour some of the powder into your hair.
Sprinkle it through your hair concentrating at the roots.
The baking soda acts as a dry shampoo and soaks up all fo the oils.
Best to do this over a sink so it doesn’t get everywhere and make a mess.
A tip from James:
Don’t let your partner kiss the top of your head because apparently it tastes horrible and he will complain about it for days.
Don’t forget the sides and back too!
Wait a few minutes for it to soak everything up.
Baking soda can also give some extra texture too.
Brush all fo the powder out.
This might take a bit longer if you have darker hair.
Taadaa!
Not as clean as just washed hair but good enough to style and go out.
I hope this was a useful video, please check out the blog post linked in the description for more information and tutorials.
Thanks so much for watching.
Bye!

How To Make Snowflake Window Stickers Instructions
Today I’m making snowflake window stickers!
Start by drawing your design on to a sheet of baking paper.
I’m doing a snow flake but you can do whatever shape you like.
Use puff paint to trace the design.
You can also buy proper window sticker paint but puff hair is cheaper and more accessible where I live.
Experiment with different sizes and thicknesses depending on the paint.
You may find that if your paint is too runny you won’t be able to do small details.
You can also cut the tip of the paint to create different shapes kind of like piping cream.
Leave it until it’s completely dry, mine took overnight.
Gently peel it off the paper when it’s completely dry.
Be gentle so you don’t damage any of the little parts.
Wet the back slightly and apply it to your window.
Done!
These are a great way to brighten up any room… so long as you have a window obviously.
Such a fun and easy project, next time I want to do a bunch of little stars to decorate my mirror with.
Check out the link in the description for a photo version of the tutorial on my blog.
I hope you enjoyed the video, good luck if you give it a try and thanks so much for watching!

A few weeks ago I was invited to get my nails done by Miss Clara. We didn’t have enough time to do a full set at the Tsumiki event so I came back a week later for a set of acrylics and 3D nail art.
I gave her some inspiration of using Bergamot and knowing my tastes she came up with a Bergamot x LizLisa inspired theme. LOVE THEM! I had a lovely time and even weeks later they look absolutely perfect so be sure to check out Clara at Tsumiki!

3D Japanese Nail Art Bunnies and Flowers
Hi Everyone!
Today we’re at Tsumiki Salon and the lovely Clara is going to do my nails.
Oh no wait, don’t look at my nails now, look at them after.
So we were talking about designs and stuff and I figured we could use Bergamot somehow because she hasn’t been on the blog too much and this is a good opportunity!
Hurray!
Clara- We’re going to do acrylic nails for Violet today because she’s got really short nails. She’s a nail biter, naughty girl.
So we’re going to get some acrylic nails done and hopefully incorporate Bergamot in the design.
Clara H, Violet LeBeaux at Tsumiki design.
Bergamot Bunny Nail Art.
Clara prepped and buffed my nails.
Then applied acrylic nail extensions
I chose a long length and shape for extra design room.
She created a pink and silver glitter gradient to my thumbs and ring fingers.
Under coat.
Milky base coat.
She worked pink glitter in layers for the gradient.
Then added silver.
Next Clara painted flowers on my other nails.
Light pink acrylic paint splotches were the base.
The splotches were then outlined in dark pink to create roses.
Next she added tiny green leaves.
Outlines for more definition were added in other colours.
Clara then applied a clear top coat.
Next up were the acrylic Bergamots.
So much focus!
Not so much here.
Bergamot’s face consists of an oval.
and two lopsided sausage ears.
The ears have little hearts in them.
Plus a floppy bow.
Clara painted the face details in acrylic paint.
The thumb design started with a tea container.
Then Bergamot’s body hugging it from the side.
Clara worked in some insanely tiny details.
Lastly she topped it off with some bling.
The acrylic areas were all top coated.
When she was done it was time to camwhore a bit.
So the verdict from the Tsumiki staff?
AWESOME!!
Epic nails were promised and epic nails were delivered. Thank you so much Clara!
Clara- you’re welcome, I hope you like them
I love them, they look exactly like Bergamot.
Please go on and visit Clara’s website and blog, links will be down below.
She’s going to start a youtube channel with tutorials and stuff soon so make sure to check it! And I will post links there too!
Thank you so much!
Clara- thank you!
Bye!
The nails look amazing!Check out the blog post in the description for some big photos of all the details.
Clara is insanely talented and I would recommend her 100% especially if you love 3D Japanese style work as much as I do!
Definitely have a look at her website for more beautiful nailart. www.Clarahnails.com
Thank you for a wondering afternoon Clara!

Paperclay bunny magnet instructions.
Today I’ll show you how to make Bergamot Bunnies out of paper clay.
This is the paper clay I’m using.
Take a small piece of clay and make a ball.
Flatten slightly and press a thumb into the top.
This is the body.
Make a small ball of clay and smoosh one side.
Attach to one side at the bottom as a foot.
Repeat on the other side.
Make 2 long sausages and flatten them for ears.
Stick the bottoms together and flatten them a little more.
For the head, flatten a large ball into a slight oval.
Attach the head to the body with a little water.
Do the same with the ears.
Make sure they’re off to one side!
Smooth the back over completely.
Make 2 tiny balls, squish side and apply as arms.
To smooth, just wipe with a little water on your finger.
Now you have a blank bunny!
Leave it to dry completely.
When it’s dry, paint hearts in the ears.
I used water colours with a dry brush for this.
Add the nose, mouth and “V” on the foot.
Use a wet brush for a soft blush.
Then the eyes, watercolour was too hard for this.
So I used a pen instead.
To finish her, I added a small clay bow.
Lastly add a magnet strip to the back using a glue gun.
All finished! Cute little Bergamots.
So there you have it.
Bergamot paper clay magnets are really simple to make and you can use the same general idea to make pretty much any shape.
I hope you enjoy the video and found it useful.
Thanks so much for watching!
