Short Hair Hime Pouf Hair Instructions
Hello!
Meet Stef, she has short hair and it totally awesome.
This time Stef challenged me to see if I could get a proper volumous pouf in her short hair.
Grab a 1 inch section at the front and put it to the side.
The basic technique is the same as the long haired version though I didn’t have a rat the right colour so I had to tease her hair.
Take a section behind it and tease/spray the bajeebus out of it.
We started with curled hair so that helped with volume too.
Lightly tease the first section you set aside and lay it over the pouf.
Just tease the back part of it, we want the front to be nice and smooth.
Spray it in place of course.
What would this be without hairspray?
The sides needed more volume so I teased small sections there too, brushed them back and pinned in place.
Honestly I find this a little easier with short hair because you don’t have to worry about the ends as much.
And as with the top I brushed some more hair over for a smooth finish.
And that’s it really, same technique as with long hair and just as cute with short!
Thanks very much to Stef for being my awesome model/victim for the day.

High Pony Tail With A Wrapped Base Hair Style Instructions
This is a really simple way to make a ponytail have more volume at the base.
It’s also good to make a simple ponytail look more dressed up.
Start with a high ponytail.
It also makes the standard ponytail a little bit more interesting.
Separate a small piece from the back.
Wrap it tightly around the elastic band.
The higher up the ponytail you wrap, the taller the ponytail will get.
Pin the end at the end at the back or just poke it under than band.
Fluff the ponytail out.
Done!
Very “I Dream Of Jeannie”.

Twisted Faux Side Braids with PonyTail Hair Style Instructions

This crazy twisted hairstyle takes a bit of work but it looks so cool and goes great with rock styles.
Brush your hair back on one side.
Create a deep part and then separate the remainder into 3 sections.
Grab the top section.
With your fingers, start twisting it gradually moving back from the hairline to the back of your head.
I found this easiest to do with my fingernails because it created very even little tracks and made it look more like a braid.
Being able to do this tightly may take a few tries to get completely right.
You’ll see I was twisting upwards now downwards.
Once you reach the back of your head pin it in place.
Repeat on the second section.
And again on the third.
Side 1 done and now for the other.
Pull the top half of the remaining hair on the other side into a high ponytail and place out of the way.
Pin half of what’s left loose up so it forms a bit of a waterfall effect.
This will give the end results lots of layers and volume.
It’s especially useful if your hair doesn’t have layers already.
Flip the ponytail up and pin it to the scalp just above the band.
Make sure it’s completely secure.
When you flip it back the right way, the pins will give it volume and hide the band.
Fan it out and hairspray in place.
Done! Ready for a big night out.
As an extra step, if you want to have more volume or be higher up just take the hair at the bottom, flip it over the top and pin in place there.
Tease it if you want even more volume.
I hope this was a useful video, please check out the blog post linked in the description for more information and tutorials.
Thanks so much for watching.

Business Twist Short Hair Style Instructions

This is Stef. She has short hair and is totally awesome.
Today we’re trying out a look which is work appropriate but still pretty!
Start by lightly teasing a large piece from out side.
Push all of the the hair over to the other side and push the teased section into the middle.
Pin in place.
Hairspray and smooth in place.
Tease the other side too.
Grab the bottom bits of hair, pull it up and pin over the first section of hair.
Lightly brush the last teased side so it’s got a smoothed finish and grab the whole thing in your hand.
This is the most important part because it’s going to be on top.
Lay it into the middle and curl the ends under using your fingers.
If you have longer hair you will need to wrap the ends under further.
Slide a pretty comb in to hold it all in place.
This should cover all of the pins you already used.
To give the outside a smooth finish, run the brush lightly along and then hairspray in place.
Special thanks to Stef for being my awesome model/victim for the day.

Vintage Rolled Hair Style Instructions
Today’s style is a simple way to do vintage style rolls using the DIY hair sausage I made.
Start by separating two smalls sections of hair at the front and pinning away your fringe.
This is my sausage.
Place it on the back of your head and roll down to your neck.
This will make sure it’s in the right position.
Fold up the rest of your hair over the sausage and tuck it inside.
This style works better with hair that’s a bit shorter than mine so it’s easier to poke in.
If you have shorter hair, you can just start wrapping from the ends but I can’t reach that far.
Roll the whole thing up to the back of your head.
Pin it in place.
Add some hairspray and smooth any loose ends.
Grab one of the side pieces and pull it backwards.
Twist it so it follows the line of the roll.
Hairspray and pin!
If it’s not puffy enough, just tease it a little and smooth in place.
Do the other side too.
You should get something like this.
This style looks great with either a straight fringe or a side swept deep part.
As far as accessories go I like to drape a strand of pearls across the top and poke them in the ends.
I hope this was a useful video, please check out the blog post linked in the description for more information and tutorials.
Thanks so much for watching.
