Architecture time! Today is old buildings!

And garden time, we had a look at the community garden top at Mebourne Central, there were so many people sleeping there *_*

But it was really beautiful!

And it made me want my own garden more… not enough to ever move out of the cbd though 😉

I bought one of those iron pot things to cook rice in. OMG BEST PURCHASE EVER. It makes everything taste so gooood. Even my terrible cooking tastes awesome!

And crispy bottom rice is so easy!

James made the most delicious fried chicken ever and even that was improved by the magic pan!

SO good. I’ll have to make him post his recipe!

Why do I always taste these photos of my food?? All it does is make me so hungry again when I write these posts >_<

We had fried chicken out too and Kim’s soup came with an entire chicken in it XD

I’ve been working more to have Bergamot’s first book published properly as well as some new comics for you guys!

How pretty is Kim?

I really love Autumn leaf designs at the moment. This car was covered in leaves but I think if I had a car I would paint leaves like this on it. In fact maybe I could make the decorations on our windows at home more seasonal and do this with them 😀 Oooh I really want to do that now and replace the stars!

Time for bubble tea!

While we had tea, I tried to teach Kim to needle felt XD I’m a terrible teacher but she made this cute doggie face.

James made apple and custard crepes.

We totally failed at making some onigiri too haha! Delicious anyway though!

I’ve really been liking these old style felt hats lately. It makes me want to try my hand at making my own. I know The Fashionate Traveler made some tutorials a white ago so looks like I’ll have to get myself a steamer and follow her lead 😀

The sweet potato wedges were just like Kwan Yin, so yummy! It’s much more up market though, they do breakfast and it’s all very cafe-ish. VERY Melbourne XD

Food almost like my favorite restaurant? Serious business!

It was all delicious and I could definitely see the similar styles but it wasn’t quite the same.

I spotted a Hello Kitty tram around the city a few weeks ago too. I think it was to celebrate the new Target range.

James made the most delicious beef bourguignon too. SO good!

We were walking around at night and the deserted Myer construction site looks so creepy *_* If they wanted to make some extra money they could totally film a horror movie there during construction!

Biggest Katsu EVER! It was like twice a wide as my waist *_*

That night we had an event and the only thing that was actually open on the way home was Mook Ji Bar.

We’d been walking around that much that I really didn’t care what we ate as long as it was hot! I love Winter but I think I’m ready for it to be Spring properly now.

Gigantic portions though!

This has been mostly food huh! I think it’s because I’m so hungry now waiting for it to be lunch time! I’ve been writing trying to get as many posts done ahead of time so I’m more organised and on top of things for once in my life. It’s nice to actually be ahead and not have to worry about details so much. It also means that I won’t be posting photos from weeks ago as much so wish me luck with it 😉

This is King Kitty, he sits on his throne and surveys all of this minions below! With how hard it’s been trying to find the right puppy I’m starting to think a cat might be better *_*

We went to a Photography expo over at Southbank called The Digital Show and it was pretty interesting, even for me who was not really interested in cameras at all XD

This is the face of the man who had his best morning ever though:

They had artists painting live which was really interesting to watch.

The only cute things I saw there were these pink camera bags 😀

I did however make use of all of the lighting displays to take many photos of myself haha! A lot of people came to talk to me because I had my deco GF3 around my neck. Poor James, he didn’t get to talk to many people so I told him that he would do better if he deco’d his camera too mwahaha! He didn’t seem very impressed with my idea.

And on the way home I was inspired to take my own photos… though I cheated again and relied heavily on sepia mode 😉

After the photography expo we took a tram into town again to walk around.

We got some delicious macarons from QV.

And I tried a cake pop! Such a cute little owl 😀 She was a bit bitter though, totally a defence mechanism to being eaten haha.

We went to the Makers Markets as well and ate at the Beatbox Kitchen, aka that yummy burger van.

It was sooo good! Ugh and the fries! I love fries so much!

There was some kind of tap dancing expo on, I think it was like world tap dancing day or something? So we watched them while we ate.

And this evil bird tried to steal our fries! Damn you arch nemesis!!

By the end of the day I was all tired out!

But not so tired that I couldn’t walk to the other side of the city for bubble tea 😉

I really liked these flowers along the way, I think they would look so beautiful in a window box. We decided that the theme of our house decoration would be flowers so I’m looking everywhere for inspiration!

Isn’t it funny how you never notice things until you look up? I have walked past this statue so many times but I didn’t even see it until recently because it’s so high up!

I’ll have to start being more observant from now on!

And how pretty is the sky? It looks like fairy floss (or cotton candy for overseas readers)!

Even our stupid faces look less stupid!

And everything looks like Autumn all the time!

I didn’t think this puppy could get any cuter but it did! Look at those eyebrows!

Yeah even James’ horrible cake from Starbucks is fancy now 😉 On the subject, carrot cake has the be the worst thing ever invented, who would think of putting vegetables in cake?? It’s against nature!

Apparently I was very bored waiting for James at Starbucks because I took so many photos XD

Straw sharing fail! I think we’re extremely uncoordinated at doing romantic couple things, I bet if we ever tried the Lady and the Tramp spaghetti thing it would snap, hit one of us in the eye and blind us. >_<

Pretty city at night! It’s like living in the 1920’s 😉 but you know…with a digital camera.

The only thing I can think when I see this next one is “DO UP YOUR SHOE LACE JAMES!”…

My Dad visited and we had bagels.

Bagels were so good they totally deserve to be in colour…

Actually the shop deserves to be in colour too, it’s so adorable!

I think all of the best places in Melbourne are down alley ways. At least a lot of the best food is, so many tiny places here are hard to find but they’re worth searching for!

While my Dad was here he took me to visit the Chanel store, soooo many pretty things in there *_*

I was too scared to touch anything though in case I had one of those typical moments where I knock one thing over and it dominos until the entire store is engulfed in a  huge explosion haha!

I bet sepia mode would have made that look extremely cool though…
