Just a quick heads up! Due to a couple of unexpected trips I’m having to take, the beauty reviews will be on hold for 1-2 weeks until I can get back to do them properly. Unfortunately with the extra time lost for the trips I have to use the time I would use for these doing stuff on the main blog.
I have a massive queue of stuff waiting for me to sit down and write about it and the second I get a chance I’ll schedule it all again so don’t go away ^_^
Until then, have a great week and see you again soon!
Good for:
-Layering over other colours
-Accent points
-Snow designs.
Would I buy Kink polishes again: Yep, fairly cheap and nice colours.

This was the first mascara that I ever bought that I really liked. I’d had many in the years previous but none that I was ever really satisfied with until I picked this up on a whim while on holidays 2 years ago. And years later it’s still my go to mascara so I think that says quite a lot right there. The formula is fairly thick but I haven’t found it to be clumpy at all, it coats easily and stays put through the day. The curved brush makes application quite easily on the top lashes. I prefer to use another mascara for the bottom lashes though because white the formula is good, the brush is a little unwieldily for the bottom. All in all, it just works! It looks good, and the formula really works for me.
My main complaint is the packaging, it’s very pretty with the metallic pink and mat black tube but it gets dirty so easily that I find myself cleaning it often, even in the photos above it looks very dirty.
Would I buy Bourjois Ultra Glamour Curl Mascara again: Yes. I will definitely continue to buy it!

Obtained: Bought but was also given one in a gift bag.
Thoughts:
My favorite thing about Mirenesse mascaras is the easy removal, rather than make up remover they can be removed by using water and rather than smudgy black mess, they come off in little black tubes. I don’t know why more companies don’t do things like this, it makes clean up so much easier! The mascara itself is quite nice, it lengthens nicely and looks fairly good on. It has a bit of an odd smell though and both of the containers I’ve had have smelt like this. It’s not noticeable once it’s dried but while applying it did cause me to hold my breath a little. I find that it doesn’t clump much so long as you apply slowly and you can lengthen lashes very easily by applying again just to the tips.
Overall I think it’s a decent mascara, the best part is definitely the removal.
Would I buy Mirenesse Secret Weapon Mascara again: It’s definitely in the higher price range but I would buy again should I manage to see it on sale on the website.

I can never decide if I like vibrating mascara or not. I like the concept of it but my eyes are insanely ticklish so in the past when I’ve used it all it made me do was blink a lot and get mascara all over the rest of my face. Needless to say I didn’t have particularly high hopes for this one. And yet I’m still using it a couple of months on because of 2 things:
1. Variable speeds
2. It’s removed in the little tube things like the other Mirenesse mascaras
So varying speeds was the part that got me over the ticklishness, it has 3 speeds and the lowest one is gentle enough that I can use it without blinking every two seconds. Yay that. To remove it rather than the traditional make up remover you can use water and it comes off in little tubes rather than smudgy panda eyes. This I love and this is why I’ve used Mirenesse mascara for around 4 years.
The brush is one of those plastic ones with small rubber points rather than bristles and I find that these work fantastically on lower lashes (you can see in the photo how it went on mine). I didn’t find that it lengthened or thickened lashes particularly but it was ok.
Would I buy Mirenesse Vibralash Mascara again: I’m not sure. I love it for my lower lashes, like the small vibrations and love the easy removal but the price for me is a kicker. If I had unlimited money I probably would buy again but on my current budget I wouldn’t pay that much unless it also had fantastic thickening/lengthening capabilities.

Price: Around $11 at Priceline but I got it on sale for $7
Obtained: Bought
Thoughts:
When this came out everyone went on and on about it because it was the first bb cream in Australia. I bought the light shade because compared to importing bb creams it was majorly cheap. At The Face Shop the creams are around $30-50, this was on sale for $7. Big difference.
And it’s not bad, it’s not great but it’s not bad either. The coverage is medium on me, it covered my freckles partially and gave a fairly natural finish. It’s got a definite orange tone (I guess suited to Australian girls more?) so it made me look a bit more tan than I was used to. The colour was fairly suitable for me, I could notice a difference but James couldn’t and thought it looked natural. It’s quite a thick formula considering the coverage, most bb cream I’ve tried have been fairly thin but this was a very thick texture so it required less product but a more even hand to apply.
Would I buy Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream again: Yes but not for me, the price is fantastic, the product is pretty good but I don’t like the orange toned finish so I wouldn’t wear it. I would definitely buy for others with suited undertones though.
