A new segment I’m trying out where in I show my morning make up routine for various days and chat about what I’m doing that day. Not really a tutorial, more of a random girly chat while we get ready together in the bathroom 😉
Today’s style features red and black, it’s a much darker look than I usually wear but I’ve been experimenting with some fun rock styles! It’s lots of fun to try something new every now and then! .

Dark Red And Black Morning Make Up Instructions.
Time for another random Morning Make Up video in which I do my make up and we chat.
Today is a very dark black and red to match the tartan dress I was wearing.
Foundation first as usual and then I started with some mascara.
I’m so tired.
I applied a wing of black shadow to the outer corners of my eyes.
I haven’t been sleeping well at all.
I brought the black down to the lower lash line.
I keep having the worst nightmares and they keep me up all night
Next I added a bright red over the black and brought it in to cover the middle of the lid.
It’s so frustrating because I can’t work out what’s causing them!
Do you guys have nightmares much? It really sucks.
I hurt my shoulder a while ago too which makes it awkward to sleep on so maybe that’s what’s waking me up too.
I filled in the rest of the lid in using a peach shade.
Being tired all the time makes me very grumpy and snappy.
After that it was time for a hell of a lot of blending.
James has nightmares too sometimes but his are about taking tests at school!
Next was a little highlighter which also softened the edges a bit.
My nightmares tend to be completely ridiculous situations.
I applied black pencil liner to the bottom waterline.
They are usually funny when I wake up but scary while I’m still asleep!
Then I applied a thick winged line of liquid liner to the top.
I brought it down to the lower lash line a little too.
Any tops for getting rid of nightmares? I could really use some.
Then I repeated it on the other side.
I can’t live on this little sleep!
Then I added some false lashes.
Or maybe I’ll just start drinking lots and lots of coffee and never sleep! I’ll be vibrating off the walls.
This is such a bold look that I just used a little nude lipstick and gloss on top.
If face in this video, I kind of look like I’m falling asleep a bit now.
All done! I look pretty tired because I haven’t been sleeping well but it’s a really pretty look and I’d like to try it again when my eyes are a bit less puffy.
I hope this was a useful video, please check out the blog post linked in the description for more information and tutorials.
Thanks so much for watching!

Braided Mini Ponytail Hairstyle Instructions!
Hello!
Today’s video is a tutorial which was requested from an outfit post that I did a little while ago.
This style is a small overhead braid ending in a mini ponytail.
Basic knowledge of how to braid will be needed for this tutorial.
Grab a section of hair from the top of your head and pin out of the way.
Tie the rest of your hair out of the way so it doesn’t get caught up.
Pin your fringe too and then release the top section.
Take a small section from the top on one side and begin the braid.
Continue the braid all the way over to the other side of the head until you run out of hair.
Keep the sections fairly loose so they are a bit puffy.
You don’t want it to sit too flat on the head otherwise it will be too hard to see.
Tie it up into a ponytail.
unpin and brush out the rest of your hair.
In the outfit of the day video this is from, I wore it with a front quiff but it’s just as cute with it down.
I like to add a flower for a spring look.
You can also pull the braid out a bit more to make it even puffier.
I think braids like this work best with slightly unwashed hair or you can use some sea salt spray to give them texture and make them super puffy.
Done!
This style is very cute for summer or winter but I prefer it in the warmer months.
I hope this was a useful video. Please check out the blog post linked in the description for more information and a photo tutorial.

Today’s project is another recycled outfit. In fact this has been recycled before! You could probably even call this one tshirt surgery XD
I had this dress which while very comfortable I never really wore it because I didn’t like how the top sat. I had already given it a make over, I can’t find the damn post I did it in though. So typical! >_<
Anyway, the fabric was pretty so I made a couple of pajama tops out of it instead.
I cut the skirt part out and cut a piece which was long enough to wrap around my torso.
Then I stitched it in a tube and hemmed the top.
I made some straps out of the same fabric by cutting a rectangle and folding it in thirds.
I measured and stitched them on.
Taadaa!
Extremely easy to make these. The stretchy fabric is forgiving so you don’t need to be exact in your measurements. You can of course just buy some tshirt fabric or cut up an old shirt to make into your own version.
They are super comfy and great for sleeping in Summer when you want fabric which breathes a little better.
Now this dress has had 3 incarnations I just need to decide what to do with the bodice part of it and maybe I can make it 4 XD
First up my favorite video of all time because it features Miss Lottie!
This tutorial has been requested for aaaages and honestly I’m not sure why I didn’t do it earlier, it’s so easy XD So here’s my all time favorite hairstyle, the big curly one sided thing… it really needs a catchier name -_-‘
This week I played with the first set of Kiss Nail Stickers which were given to me by the lovely Sefie! I preferred these to the other vinyl ones I’ve tried which had a tendency to peel off and the designs are very blingy 😀
Following on form Zombies last week, here is the behind the scenes video! It’s pretty funny, well the dancing is XD This is what usually happens on our photo shoots haha!
A few weeks ago I did a tutorial on how to make headphone jack accessories, this is kind of a companion piece to that because now I’m seeing power cord jack accessories everywhere! The most popular ones I’ve seen have been little fur tails that clip in, again quite expensive but extremely easy to make if you have an old broken power cord. I had a first gen ipod so I have quite a few broken power cords XD
The end result!
What you need:
Old broken power jack
Faux fur
Hot glue
Pliers
Cut the cord off the power cord. While I was working the case cracked off my power cord, not a big deal because it will be covered but it would have been cleaner if it had stayed on.
Cut out a a triangle of faux fur twice as wide as you want the tail to be.
Fold it in half and glue the edges together. Keep the glued part on the inside so the fur strands hide it.
Now glue the power cord into the end of the tail.
Make sure it’s secure and not going anywhere.
Wait until it’s dry and then you’re done! You can add some strings of pearls or a cute bow for extra decoration.
It looks a bit less OTT on James’ phone XD
I personally probably wouldn’t use one because I am always strapped for handbag space as it is but it was a fun project to do and very easy! I like this kind of thing because you can dress up your phone easily and remove it if you need to go somewhere it’s not as appropriate!

Curly One Sided Hairstyle Instructions
Hello! Today’s tutorials has been one of my most requested styles.
The big one sided up do curly thingamajig.
Start by applying heat protector and brushing it completely through the hair.
Use whatever method you prefer to curl the ends of your hair. I personally prefer either a straightener or a mini straightener.
Time fast forward to completely curled hair!
Clip your fringe away so it doesn’t get in the way of what we’re going to do next.
Flip your head over and lightly brush the hair straight over the head to the other side.
Pin it in place at the back so the curls stay over the one side.
I prefer to brush very lightly so I don’t remove any volume as it comes over.
Pin it at the top here too.
Bring a handful of curls up to the top and pin them in a bunch at the top of the head.
You’re pinning them over the top of the place you first pinned if that makes sense.
For extra side volume, grab bunches of the curls and pin them to the side of the head.
This style turns out a bit different every single time because it’s very unpriced.
Hairspray the whole thing in place and if you need to puff it up, you can tease the underside.
Now just curl the ends of your fringe under so they sit well with the rest of the look.
Add a pretty bunch of flowers, a bow or something else to decorate and you’re all finished.
One of my all time favorite hair styles and it’s much easier to do than it looks!
I really love styles like this, they look so complicated.
But I’m a very lazy person and I like to sleep in so the less effort the better.
Hopefully that explained it all fairly clearly.
I hope this was a useful video, please check out the blog post linked in the descriptions for more information and tutorials.
Thanks so much for watching!
