I hereby name this snapshots post “Stuff I Ate and Generic Pretty Scenery”.
James has been really going nuts trying to make healthy food lately. He’s on a health kick. I am not. Tensions are high in regards to dinners XD
He made little potato slices with parmesan and light sour cream. Not exactly healthy but we compromise!
I love food shots taken from above.
James got some new shoes that he totally hates but secretly totally loves. His old shoes finally bit the dust. He’s acting all cool like he doesn’t even care about shoes but I know that deep down he has a shoe love affair. He’s monogamous though, only one pair of shoes at a time. I’m more open in the shoe love area so I have several lovers at a time.
This is what happens when I don’t sleep.
Here’s a delicious bagel.
We have clearly gone to that delicious Korean place I filmed my Vlogs at one too many times because now they remember us XD
I still love this grape drink too! It’s got actual whole grapes floating around in it 😀
Yummy tea time!
And bibimbap! I love stone pot anything but bibimbap is one of my particular favorites. So far as side dishes go, this place makes some kind of honey potatoes. Oh my god they are the best thing in the universe, kind of waxy almost but honey and asdfadfdroool. I’m hungry again.
James is totally all about spicy food at the moment. He’s built up quite a tolerance to it now and he always orders spicy something or other. Then he goes on about how spicy it is and his whole face turns red!
The last time we went there was a fire in the building next door and a whole bunch of firemen were hanging out.
James ate a gigantic pizza.
I ate a crepe. Silly Violet, that’s not the way to eat a crepe.
We tried out Pink Cafe which is a place full of the most random foods.
Hot dogs, waffles with peanut butter and condensed milk and cups of corn.
Delicious corn!
Now we move on to the beautifully generic scenery portion of this episode.
Ah Docklands, everyone kind of hates you but you’re so full of pretty scenery!
Sunset with people rowing!
The lights at Southbank are beautiful too.
As pretty as they are though, they just can’t compete with the city skyline.
There’s just something about the city that brings me back every time.
Ah Australia, you’re such an odd mix of scenery in the best way possible.
Got to run now, I’ve got a skype interview to get ready. I’m being so productive doing that by camwhoring instead 😉
It can be quite dirty living in the city especially when you spend most of your life attached to a handbag.
As such I decided to show Bergamot some love and give her a day of pampering with a spa 😀
So without further ado I present Bergamot’s Ultimate Spa Tutorial.
Step one in the ultimate bunny spa day is to remove all jewellery. You don’t want it to get tarnished in the soapy water!
Next you want to have a big fluffy warm towel ready for when you get out. It’s really cold in Melbourne at the moment so you don’t want to catch a cold! I also like to tie up my ears with a headband (or hair if you have that instead!).
Then it’s time to add the water. Make sure it’s nice and warm but not scalding because that’s bad for your skin!
You can treat yourself to a really luxurious bath bomb or some delicious smelling candles to set the mood. I chose some yummy peach scented hand wash because I wanted to get all of that city dirt out.
Make sure you test that the water’s not too hot before getting in!
Aaaah that’s nice! Now sit back and relax until it starts getting cold. I would recommend bringing in some delicious chocolates, a cup of tea and a good book. If you’re clumsy like me I would not suggest bringing in a kindle/ipad for reading unless you have something to lean it on ^_^ Don’t want any electrical mishaps!
Also if your paws are covered in fur you might want to skip the chocolate part because you’ll end up dirtier with melted chocolate than you were to begin with haha!
After you’re all relaxed it’s time to hop out and dry off!
Mmmm all clean and snuggly!
This is where having a blow drier bigger than yourself really comes in handy with chasing away the winter blues!!
Now I’m all relaxed and ready to go make another cup of tea before I get back in Violet’s bag!
I recommend taking time off like this at least once a week so you can de-stress and come up with lots of creative ideas. I’m lucky because I can use a bowl as a bath, poor Violet doesn’t fit in a bowl so she has to make do with the shower *_* It’s much harder to read in the shower!!
Enjoy your relaxation time and make sure you come check out my adventures at my blog: BergamotBunny.com
Snapshot time 😀 This time we visited Ikea in search of nice things to decorate the house with!
There were so many cute things there that were completely nonfunctional but beautiful. I wanted to take a lot of things home that I didn’t have the money for XD
They had a whole range of cute rose things.
And so many fake flowers and plants. I am going to decorate our whole house with them! I can’t kill what isn’t alive in the first place!
James stayed classy relaxing in front of his creepy fake fire place.
Very cute idea!
Pretty sheets I almost bought but couldn’t find the right size.
These lamps from Bunnings were very pretty too!
It’s been insanely rainy this month. I really love the rain especially at night when it makes the city look so beautiful.
We went to the Tony and Guy event because I was in their Blogged and Bound book too.
Mostly it was an excuse for me to pose dramatically with hair appliances and abuse the photo machine they had. Never invite me to events with photo booths, I will absolutely monopolise them mwahaha!
Seriously.
When I’m rich I’m totally going to have one in our house.
One of the awesome hair stylists from the Blogged and Bound shoot was giving the demonstration. She is just the cutest and she uses the same ideas when styling hair as me: add more pins and spray 😀
I told you, photobooth abuse with Jess and Amy!
Seriously, one in my house. It’s going to be awesome, you guys can all come take photos with me 😀
It’s a round up day today and I’m feeling so organised 😀
I’ve joined Instagram (finally!) so if you’re on there too feel free to add me, my username is VioletLeBeaux!
I’ve gotten into a routine of posting Vlogs once a week again so here’s last week’s video of some puppies I saw kissing SO CUTE!!
We received a package from PureGirlBlue too and it was AWESOME!
I’ve started feeling a bit more inspired with my make up again so here’s a Morning Make Up featuring some wearable fushia 😀
I had a lot of requests to do a tutorial on this style of bun which is braided upwards through the back of the head. Done and done 😀
The biggest news today is that I’ve finally been able to launch my Deluxe Tutorial Packs for sale. Nothing is going to change on this site, there will still be heaps of free tutorials for you guys so don’t stress out ^_^

Snapshots today!
First off we start with some delicious food 😀 There’s this amazing Taiwanese tea house in Brisbane called Kwan Yin and it’s my favorite place in the entire world. Last time I was there I asked if the owner knew anywhere similar in Melbourne and she gave me her friend’s card. Turns out she owns a little restaurant here called “A Caterpillar’s Dream”. They are a much fancier upmarket version of Kwan Yin but just as delicious. We drove out to Kew with Kim to test it out and weren’t disappointed!
The sweet potato wedges were just how I remembered, so yummy!
The bento’s weren’t quite the same but still so delicious! It was definitely worth the trip out. I love that both Kwan Yin and A Caterpillar’s Dream are vegetarian restaurants so all of the meat is fake meat. I was so worried about taking James to Kwan Yin the first time I didn’t tell him it was fake meat and he thought it was delicious! Mwahaha > : D
We went to watch the Roller Derby recently too which was really interesting. The building it’s in has a big pie out the front for some reason haha!
We ate all of the usual terrible event food that is always at these things 😀
Some of us did it with more class than others…
The derby itself was really interesting because none of us knew the rules so for the first match we just guessed and cheered when it seemed appropriate XD
The crowd was pretty big and so many girls with beautiful hair colours too!
The first match was quite a bit slower than the second.
We did eventually find a pamphlet to work out what was going on though!
It was pretty funny, Kim was standing behind us with her brother to get better photos and she handed me the pamphlet with the rules over my shoulder. James thought it was a complete stranger handing it to me because I looked like I didn’t know what was going on XD Not quite that embarrassing!
These photos look pretty crappy so small but the big versions were so pretty that I want to get some of them printed somewhere.
All of the players and the referees had awesome nicknames too! Roger Ramjet for the win!
At half time we were all pretty much frozen into icecubes but having fun!
Kim and Din were all rugged up!
I really liked the structure holding th tent up because it looked like some kind of alien landing craft XD
I met this lovely lady who was holding a stall at the markets inside the building. She had the most AMAZING outfit, it was so detailed and beautiful up close and I really regret not getting one of her cards.
The second match was really fluro with pink vs green!
I took a lot of photos but it’s hard to caption these XD
It wasn’t quite as violent as tv has lead me to believe 😉
The girls were totally fearless though, it was quite exciting to watch them because they go so fast!
Almost makes me want to learn how to skate but I think I’m a bit too easily bruised for this kind of thing XD
Very interesting to watch though!
I think I’ve spammed you all with enough roller derby goodness now, if you’re in Melbourne I definitely suggest checking out the league! We’re going to go again when winter’s over and it’s not so damn cold at night!
