Ok so normally today is reserved for ACEO Friday…

…but for Christmas I got new drawing software which I’ve been playing with non-stop so I haven’t actually done any ACEO’s for a while! So I thought I would share with you the first drawing I did with my new software, you can click for a big version to see all the details. Not bad for a first go right?

I’m so excited about this new program, the brush control is just awesome! As you can see I’ve been playing with textures quite a bit ^_^

What have you all got planned for the weekend? I’m going to be working and hopefully shooting a couple of new tutorials as well as painting some nails 😀

I might even get some new ACEO work done!

Hello everyone it’s time for ACEO Friday again 😀

Today is the last day you can vote to name my new camera so head on over to the side bar and cast your vote~

I thought this ACEO was quite fitting for today as I feel a little bit like Alice running around everywhere *_*

It’s a little strange, this is going to be my last post in this blog! For the next post (on Monday) I’m officially moving over to:

Exciting! I think you guys will really like it in my new home, there is a new layout and it’s going to be more fun and interactive 😀 I’ve still got Google Friend Connect active so those of you who “follow” me here just need to add yourselves using the sidebar on the new site again. Everyone else just update your browsers!

To give you a bit of an incentive to move over to my new address I’ll be posting something awesome every day for the first week (starting on Monday)! I’m going to have things you guys have been asking for like the video tutorial on how to make the leopard nails, craft tutorials and heaps more. There is even going to be a very cool competition… I don’t want to give it away yet because it’s not quite finished but it involves deco!

Ok so this technically isn’t an ACEO but I just finished it so too bad you can all look at it XD

This one started as a joke between the hilarious Nixxy (if you love nail polish you should totally check out her blog!) and I. At the time I had just been told I might have Lupus so I decided that if someone asked me what Lupus was I would just tell them I was a werewolf 😀 This led to a discussion about a Hime style werewolf terrorizing the town in search of brand and diamantes!

I probably should have spent a bit more time on this, I’m not 100% happy with how it turned out. I think it needs a lot more details and fine tuning. It really was quite a quick sketch… I’ve just been to lazy/busy to finish it!

So if you wake in the dead of night and the moon is full, listen closely you might hear the lone hime wolf’s cry of… “Jesuuuuuuuus Diiiimaaaaaaaaaaanteeeeeeeeeee! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Holy bajeebus is it ACEO Friday already??

I so am not ready for the weekend! Most of the move is done, so we’re just settling into out new home at the moment, putting clothes away and arranging my bathroom etc.

This quick sketch of a dragon was inspired by a tattoo I saw a long time ago. Dragon tattoos are either very cool or very lame. Hopefully this one turned out very cool 😉

I’ve been filming today for my video post on Monday! I can’t wait to show you all ^_^ Definitely a change of pace to ACEO’s!

How to Indulge in the Uniquely Singapore Experience

Hey everyone! This is the second part of my Nuffnang Blog Awards competition entry. This one is all about Singapore!

So why do I deserve to go to Singapore? Well I don’t know if I deserve to go above all of the other entries as there have been some really awesome ones but I would really like to go! I’d love to actually get out of the house and meet some fellow bloggers in person for a change ^_^ The most important reason I would like to go is experiencing another culture! Singapore is completely different to Australia and I’d love to be able to meet new and interesting people.

The second part of this post is all about my perfect day in Singapore!

When you’re traveling you should always take comfortable shoes with you as you never know how much walking (or shopping!) you’re going to have to do. I find it really difficult to find comfortable shoes that are also really cute 🙁

So I made my own! I bought a cheap set of white runners from Big W for $25 and added glitter, pearls, diamantes and bows 😀

I’m always doing photo posts on my blog so I thought I’d do something a little different this time so you can see things from the perspective of my new shoes ^_^

I like to look nice as much of the time as possible. So even when I’m flying I wear nice comfortable clothes. On my day in Singapore I’ll arrive at the airport looking cute as ever 😉

The first thing I’ll do after I arrive is meet up with all the awesome friends I’ve made through blogging! Traveling is so much more fun with friends ^_^ That’s James on the far right in the stylish wing tips I’m totally going to buy him. Next I want to take a ride on the famous “Ducks”. They look so cute! And I’ve heard that the guides are very charismatic and informative ^_^ I’ll probably have to run to catch it because I got side tracked with all my friends!

Then it’s… SHOPPING TIME! Yaaay! Ah you all know how much I love shopping, I am a champion bargain finder! I am so looking forward to spending time on Orchard Road. Shops get ready for me!

There are many Lolita shops in Singapore too so I would love to visit one or two and pick up some new dresses or accessories! It would be lovely to actually be go into the shops and feel the fabric of the clothes I want rather than having to order online. *sigh* I’m dreaming about feeling all of that beautiful lace (other Lolitas will get this).

I want to see as much of the city as possible but I want to see the parks and other areas as well. I would try to get as diverse snap shot of Singapore as I could in 1 day! Ad with my awesome shoes I could do all the walking I wanted without feeling the horrible ouch of high heels ^_^

When I have finished my tour around the town and seen all I could see I would definitely head back to the hotel for a little “me time”. I always try to schedule a couple of hours where I can just relax on holidays otherwise I would run out of energy! My favorite is relaxing by a pool with a nice cold drink…

And to top off my fantastic day? Well I couldn’t really ask for more than that but I would love to go to the Nuffnang Awards! I would probably change my shoes at this point though!

The glitter is ridiculously sparkly in person but the camera didn’t catch it well.Even the back must be cute!And nothing I own is complete without a flower!

New Layout Artwork

This week’s artwork post is a little bit different to usual…

I’ve completely overhauled the layout to the blog complete with new cute version of me on the banner 😀

Over the next week I’m going to be working out all of the kinks so if something doesn’t work or you don’t like something let me know and I’ll do my best to fix it up.

I’m just about falling asleep on the keyboard at the moment but these are some of the other changes which will be made tomorrow:

  • Fix all broken/crappy widgets and get them to match the colours
  • Add sponsors page
  • Add about me page
  • Add find me online page
  • Find better label/tag cloud. I saw a cool spinning one the other day but I’ve forgotten where, suggestions?
  • Anything else you guys point out…

Btw can someone tell me if the Twitter feed on the right is working? It’s not working on my computer but the code appears to be correct and I’m on a Mac…
