We’ve gone through some big changes over the last month or so, Kris has gone back to QLD for a while so I’m working as James’ assistant again which takes a decent chunk out of my time and I’ve been working really hard to create more products for my Creative Market shop.
I want people who aren’t using graphics like designers to be able to access my artwork too so I’ve been working on setting up places to buy prints, shirts and that kind of thing as well.
I feel like I’m at a turning point in my life and I want to turn into the wind and go the direction that makes me happy and the more I get into it, that’s illustration.
These photos are so old… Bergamot’s cousin Oolong came to visit with Becky!
Becky has even come to visit with Oolong again since then >_<
So… I don’t know exactly where I’m going right now but I am happier than I’ve ever been so I’m looking forward to sharing it more with you all ^_^
This didn’t turn out to be a very silent snapshots did it? Maybe I’ve found my groove again after all 😉

Today let’s do a mini craft! I saw these little flags at a junk store a while ago but figured I would save some money and diy. I made about 30 of them for our Billy Idol Day lunch and only used 3 >_>
So cute though right?

You need:
- Cute tape, I used washi tape but you can use whatever
- Toothpicks
- Scissors
Literally all you do is take a piece of tape at least twice as long as you want your flag…
Fold it in half over the toothpick so it sticks to itself…
And then snip the end into points.
Rinse and repeat till you have enough!
This really probably is the easiest tutorial I’ve ever made here haha! But they look so cute when you poke them into cupcakes or bowls of stuff. I’m using the left overs now to jazz up lazy dinners! I’m having a lot of lazy dinners lately >_>

This was a nice casual outfit to go and pick up a guitar James bought off a lady on Gumtree.
The shirt/jumper I bought for $2 from the Camberwell markets when we first moved down here. The sleeve had a hole in it so I cut them shorter a few months ago.
The jeans are from Aly about 8 years ago-ish. I’m surprised they even still fit haha!
The shoes are my favourite obnoxious sneakers. They were the last pair at 7Angels and they’re both comfortable and blindingly gold.
My make up was super light. I’ve been wearing a lot less make up lately and I’m trying to convince myself that it’s a new look that I’m trying out but it might really just be laziness >_>
My eyes still haven’t totally recovered from a string of late nights, allergies and colds so I’m going to keep giving them a break for a while.
Bonus shot because I’m so cool. I actually lost these sunglasses a few weeks ago and I’m so sad. I wish I could remember where they came from so I could get another set because I love them so much ;_;
