You can read all about the Toni and Guy Hair Meets Wardrobe Blogged and Bound campaign on their website. The general idea though is that they took some of Australia’s top fashion and beauty bloggers and showed how their hair products could work in with the wardrobes.
Now because it’s a very pretty book and I’m excited here are some photos from the inside!
Hey that’s a familiar face!!
All that food is real! I ate so many of those macarons on the day XD
Aaaand the crew came to my house and Glamaz Melbourne to film the video version of it! Take a look and let me know what you think! 😀
Even though people are moving towards using green bags here there are still many businesses that use plastic bags. We have our groceries delivered and there’s no option to not have plastic bags there so I reuse them at home.
Plastic bag!
Our groceries are delivered so I don’t get to pick how they are packaged. We have A LOT of these bags waiting to be recycled.
These bag holders have been around for ages but this one is slightly different because it’s made from an old shirt.
You need:
Old tshirt
Lace
Ribbon
Needle and thread/sewing machine
So first cut out two rectangles from the shirt. If your shirt isn’t fitted like mine was you can really just cut off the sleeves and neckline and do less sewing.
Cut some eyelet lace which is threaded with ribbon. You need two pieces and they should be twice as wide as the rectangle.
Stitch the eyelet lace in place and then turn it inside out and stitch up the sides.
You should have a big tube.
Pull the ribbon in the eyelet lace tight and you’ve got something like this:
Stitch the ends of the ribbon together if you like.
Fill it with plastic bags through the top then when you need one just grab it from the bottom.
Pretty way to brighten up the place!
Now I just need to clean the rest of the kitchen -_-‘

Twisted Faux Side Braids with PonyTail Hair Style Instructions
This crazy twisted hairstyle takes a bit of work but it looks so cool and goes great with rock styles.
Brush your hair back on one side.
Create a deep part and then separate the remainder into 3 sections.
Grab the top section.
With your fingers, start twisting it gradually moving back from the hairline to the back of your head.
I found this easiest to do with my fingernails because it created very even little tracks and made it look more like a braid.
Being able to do this tightly may take a few tries to get completely right.
You’ll see I was twisting upwards now downwards.
Once you reach the back of your head pin it in place.
Repeat on the second section.
And again on the third.
Side 1 done and now for the other.
Pull the top half of the remaining hair on the other side into a high ponytail and place out of the way.
Pin half of what’s left loose up so it forms a bit of a waterfall effect.
This will give the end results lots of layers and volume.
It’s especially useful if your hair doesn’t have layers already.
Flip the ponytail up and pin it to the scalp just above the band.
Make sure it’s completely secure.
When you flip it back the right way, the pins will give it volume and hide the band.
Fan it out and hairspray in place.
Done! Ready for a big night out.
As an extra step, if you want to have more volume or be higher up just take the hair at the bottom, flip it over the top and pin in place there.
Tease it if you want even more volume.
I hope this was a useful video, please check out the blog post linked in the description for more information and tutorials.
Thanks so much for watching.
Bye!
