Australis Eyeshadow Primer
Obtained: Gift Bag.
Thoughts:
Before this I didn’t really use a specific eye primer, I just used my face primer all over my face. I’m always out to try something new though so for a couple of months I used this Australis eye-specific primer and noticed…. pretty much not difference at all. It went on smoothly and didn’t have any particular scent. It felt slippery on while drying and while it did make a minor difference compared to wearing no primer at all it seemed to have less hold than my regular primer. While I’ve seen some good reviews on this for other people it just didn’t really wow me. Definitely worth the price if you don’t use an all over face primer though so I’d suggest trying in store and seeing how it works for you.
Would I buy Australis Eyeshadow Primer again: Not for me but possibly for a friend.

The time is finally here, the Bergamot Etsy store is finally open!
Such a relief to finally have something online! The store will have several more options added over the next few weeks but at the moment it has:
- Cell phone and bag charms
- Bracelets
- Earrings
- Plain charms that you can use in your own craft projects
Miss Bergamot herself:
It’s been a really bumpy ride trying to get this up and running, working out margins including several currency exchanges and percentages has reminded me several times why James and I are considering moving overseas >_<
I’m so proud of how this batch of charms has turned out and it’s made all of the hard work worth it! The next step is definitely still getting the plushies into production but my negotiations on that level are still going on and until I can get the costs including shipping under control without me having to lay out many thousands of dollars in advance it’s slow progress. But it is progress so it’s something else to look forward to!
In the mean time I will be putting a couple of the handmade Bergamot plushies up for auction!
I’m so happy to be able to keep crossing big projects like this off my to do list! Next step will be the Bergamot book and the pattern books 😀
So enjoy some photos below or…
This is my sewing table at the moment:The puffy cotton tails I’ve been obsessed with making…
And some of the individual items!
Some bracelets! I want to do some extremely full charm bracelets next 😀
More phone/bag straps.
My favorites are the ones with the fluffy tails 😀 I want to make hair accessories with these too!
And some earrings too!
So many exclamation marks in one post but I think it’s totally justified considering how long you guys have waited!
Thank you to everyone who has helped me out with getting these done, I hope you all like them as much as I do!
And once more…

BYS Eye Pallete
Obtained: Bought.
Thoughts:
I spotted this at a junk store and liked the idea of having all of the colours I usually use in one palette for traveling. At around $5 the price was right too. The colours are just beautiful and so bright in the palette. Unfortunately that doesn’t carry over to being on the face and they are not very pigmented at all. I found the colours much closer to the original when applied wet but even then it required a lot of digging to get enough out. For a $5 palette I can’t really complain though, it’s still great for traveling and keeping in my handbag for small touch ups while out. It does have a place in my collection but not as something I would use every day.
Would I buy BYS Eye Pallete again: Probably not because the colours aren’t as bright as I personally like.
