Black Shirt- SES
I really didn’t dress appropriately for the weather this day >_< It was forecast to be warm but it was freezing. I had a jacket but the wind coming off the water was absolutely cutting.
I wanted something a little bit darker. Everyone in Melbourne wears black pretty much all the time and I think it’s rubbing off on me. I find myself adding more and more black to my wardrobe without even realising it. It does make the other colours in the outfit pop a lot more though!
This was the first day I got to wear the boots out too, they were very comfortable. Now I’ve had them reheeled I think I’ll be wearing them quite a bit even in Summer. I’m glad the weather is warming up. Normally I can’t stand Summer or the heat at all but living in a city which has 4 distinct seasons is making me appreciate the warmth. I think this is the first time in my life that I am actually looking forward to the warmth *_* It feels totally unnatural
Aaaanyway I do quite like this outfit even if it’s dark. I like that I’ve found another way to wear that tartan dress. It’s a bit short so using it as a shirt is a good way to get some more use out of it. Do you guys tend to wear darker clothes in winter too? |
