We took James’ new Nikon D60 out for a spin today! So much fun, he even let *me* take a few pictures! For those who don’t know this is a big deal because I am the clumsiest person in the universe.
Oh noes don’t let me hold it or I might drop it and we’d have no money left *_* It does take lovely photos, they are just very expensive photos 😉
How nice is the view from my balcony? I love it. You can’t see here but we can see all the way into the city. Hurrah the perks of being on the top of a hill!

Now a question for you all… I’m thinking of doing a weekly feature of a shop that I like or a review of interesting products. Would you be interested in reading that? Good idea yes/no?

Well James’ favorite things to cook are sweet things and he’s always missing the food in America. Imagine his surprise and joy when he found a recipe for Smores in a magazine!

The cookies took so loooong to cook! And our oven temperature gauge is broken so he had to wait to make sure nothing got burnt.
Finally they’re done! And they look delicious! And they taste delicious! And they make great nose warmer too apparently.Aww but one boy can’t eat them all ;_; Don’t worry James I’ll help too :D:D:D

Hurrah James just got his new fancy DSLR camera so I’m going to have awesome photos!
I bet you guys will be able to tell the difference between my crappy camera and his awesome one. You’ll just have to deal with me using up the photos I’ve already edited until I start using his though!

Oh and we just finished shooting my Hime Gyaru hair tutorial today so I’ll post it either this week or next. Yay for big hair!

To be honest I’m more of a fan of Angelic Pretty than Baby the Stars Shine Bright. I find that in general the patterns that Baby uses aren’t as poofy in the skirt department as AP’s designs. There are of course exceptions and when Louise told me she was selling this beauty I fell in love with it at first sight!
I tried it on in the bathrooms at David Jones in the City and it fit like a dream!
I think that one of the reasons I love it is that this is almost half way between Lolita and Hime styles. So many bows.
It’s not as well finished as my AP clothes but it’s still lovely and soft.
I forgot to post about this, it actually happened quite a while ago… like before Christmas!Anyway James‘ friend Wouter came from Holland to stay with us for a while and we all went out to dinner at the Pancake Manor.
