A few years ago when I started getting into spinning I happened upon an ad which was offering free alpaca fiber on a farm up near Mornington. Sounded like a pretty great excuse for a road trip right?
It took us ages to find the actual farm but on the way we happened upon an actual alpaca farm where you could pay to feed them. Omg winner!!
They were so friendly and cute!
After all of that we went cheese hunting and found a yummy place to have some lunch!
And the result of that? A bajillion garbage bags of raw fiber!
A good chunk of it was no good for spinning but there was some really nice stuff in there too, totally worth it!
That kept me spinning for quite a while haha!
