Hair Style Questions and Answers

Nov 30, 2009 by

Lately a couple of people have been asking about how I do my hair style and decorate my hair.

When I posted my make up tutorial Victoria Suzanne from Lolita Charm asked:

“I’d love to know about the roses in your hair – did you make them and how are they in such a cute little band? “

Here is a screen shot of my hair from the tutorial (the best one I could find anyway!)

So I thought today that I would talk a little bit about hair and show you how you can turn pretty much anything into a hair clip ^_^

  19. princess

I like this tut a lot! So I just bought foam roses from spotlight and they’re glued to a cardboard thingy. How do I remove them?

    • Yes, that’s so annoying isn’t it? I ended up ripping mine off but I suppose you could just cut the cardboard as close as you could to the base. Let me know how it turns out ^_^

      • Anne

Phew! It was still intact. I cut the cardboard till each rose had a square base below it and bent the cardboard till the rose came off. Yay!

        • Oh that’s really lucky! It’s such a silly way to package them, I don’t know why they do it *_*

  21. I enjoy reading these hair blogs they are ever so creative & inspiring…

  22. Princess Tutu

So is your style completely Hime Gyaru, or a little bit Hime Lolita too?

    • My personal style? Definitely not Lolita anymore, I haven’t worn Lolita fashion in a good couple of years. While I do enjoy hime styles I don’t dress in them exclusively either. I’m inspired by lots of things and that’s just one area. I would definitely not classify myself as 100% Hime Gyaru ^_^

  23. Momo

Hi, I absolutely ADORE your blog! :) And I just cannot thank you enough for posting such amazingly MUST DIE for tutorials!!!

  24. Lydia

Where do you get the plastic hair combs that you glue the flowers onto? :D

  25. You make it look so easy! Hehe <3
