My wonderful friend BGDino sent me a very fun cross stitch kit in her last package… a dinosaur! It looks exactly like her mascot so I couldn’t wait to give it a go 😀
The contents included a cute little hoop for display as well 😀
So funny, the instructions were very explicit in how many threads to use warning you not to run out… I ran out anyway XD Luckily I had the exact same green in my stash already!

I added in the stripy long stitch background and I’m thinking I should totally deco the frame with some green jewels, what do you think?

Half way through I decided that I wanted to go a slightly different direction to the pattern and give it a more pixel-art feeling with a thick black border and by following the squares rather than diagonal curves.
