Ok so normally today is reserved for ACEO’s but for Christmas I got new drawing software which I’ve been playing with non-stop so I haven’t actually done any ACEO’s for a while! So I thought I would share with you the first drawing I did with my new software, you can click for a big version to see all the details. Not bad for a first go right?

I’m so excited about this new program, the brush control is just awesome! As you can see I’ve been playing with textures quite a bit ^_^

Ok so this technically isn’t an ACEO but I just finished it so too bad you can all look at it

This one started as a joke between the hilarious Nixxy (if you love nail polish you should totally check out her blog!) and I. At the time I had just been told I might have Lupus so I decided that if someone asked me what Lupus was I would just tell them I was a werewolf This led to a discussion about a Hime style werewolf terrorizing the town in search of brand and diamantes!

I probably should have spent a bit more time on this, I’m not 100% happy with how it turned out. I think it needs a lot more details and fine tuning. It really was quite a quick sketch… I’ve just been to lazy/busy to finish it!

So if you wake in the dead of night and the moon is full, listen closely you might hear the lone hime wolf’s cry of… “Jesuuuuuuuus Diiiimaaaaaaaaaaanteeeeeeeeeee! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Holy bajeebus is it again Friday already?? I so am not ready for the weekend! Most of the move is done, so we’re just settling into out new home at the moment, putting clothes away and arranging my bathroom etc.

This quick sketch of a dragon was inspired by a tattoo I saw a long time ago. Dragon tattoos are either very cool or very lame. Hopefully this one turned out very cool

I’ve been filming today for my video post on Monday! I can’t wait to show you all ^_^

So this is a regular old ACEO Friday post but I also have to let you all know that I’ll be without internet for a few days while we move in with James’ parents so I won’t be able to reply to comments until I get my internet connection back.

Everything is a mad house here at the moment! I’m knee deep in boxes and packing tape at the moment which is fun. I’ve got around half of the house done but the rest looks like a bomb has hit it ^_^

There is row upon row of bejeweled bits and pieces in piles of “Keep” and “Throw out”. I went through all my hair and make up bits and pieces yesterday… here is a snap shot of the carnage!

So when I see you all next week I’ll be living with James’ parents ^_^ Have a great weekend!

Yaaarrrgh! This ACEO was inspired by good old fashioned pirates and old school tattoos. I’ve always really admired that style.

In other news it looks like we’ll be moving house soon although nothing is set in stone yet. What that means is that we (might) be going from having the space of a 3 bedroom townhouse to something much smaller so I’m trying to condense all of our stuff down.

Today my gift voucher for winning that Nuffnang competition arrived and I can’t decide what to do with it! Any ideas? So far I got the suggestion that I should use it to make a $10,000 ball gown for the Nuffnang awards If I manage to get in I totally will! Any other suggestions?

Ah this little doodle is how I am feeling right now! You know those days that just draaaaag on? The main difference between me an the cute little Lolita above is that I have a packet of Timtams next to me. Who ever invented Timtams needs a medal. Or a comendation from the Queen. I wonder if the Queen eats Timtams with her tea? I like to think she does! I bet she has an unlimited supply too. Damn lucky Queen.

To distract myself I’ve been thinking about what I’m planning for this weekend…

• Trying to finish the new Blue Crane Design website… which is what I’m doing now.
• Decide on a design to deco my new phone case.
• Photos for 2 hair tutorials- hot rollers and kitty rolls
• Dye hair (if I have time to do the above tutorials!)
• Start next website for work.
• Try to physically leave the house and go shopping!
• Do something crafty
• Sleep for a decent amount of time
• Download a bunch of new iphone apps to play with and find a cute screen saver
• Do at least 5 more lessons of Japanese coach, write 2 entries on Lang 8 and try to learn some more kanji
• Do my nails for guest post at Lisa’s blog

Well that’s a pretty full weekend, I better get back to work so I can start enjoying it tonight!

I went through a phase of painting nothing but Geisha for a while. I like the stark contrasting colours. This was a quick watercolour warm up exercise ACEO.

I bought some really cute clothes this week including a little beanie/beret thingy which actually doesn’t look terrible on me! Pictures to follow next week

Morning! Well it’s actually afternoon but morning sounds so much more cheerful even if it’s incorrect

I didn’t have time to get an ACEO Friday post ready as Susie came over again yesterday and we spent the whole day baking and doing deco. It was an awesome day and we even took photos for the tutorial I’m making on how to make Mochi… mmm mochi.

Anyway I thought you all might be more interested in some of my cuter artwork. I drew this last time we were up at Mooloolaba when it was my birthday. As you can see it’s a typical Lolita birthday

Aceo Friday again, my how time flies doesn’t it? This week I’ve got a silly little caricature of Marilyn Monroe, this is what happens when I have no real time for art.

This weekend I’m going to do a tutorial on how to do the bow hair so look out for that on Monday.

I don’t think there’s anything better than a good cup of tea on a cold day. I’ve just gotten some new lose leaf varieties and so I’m obsessed at the moment. Mmmmm. what are your favorite teas?

Anyway here is the third contender in my Casual Hairstyle Poll…

2 plaits! Very easy to do, stays in nicely but has lots of fly aways by the end of the day. This style is good because I can customize it depending on my mood with an alice bow or bows on each end, my only worry is that it’s *too* plain…
