Today on Violet Vision.
Big curly updo.
You need a hair curler/straightener, bobby pins, flower pins, hairspray.
The finished look.
Proper photos in the blog post.
Celeste’s hair was already mostly curled from the last style.
We did this look after taking out hime style hair so the top was uncurled.
You can use a curling wand, straightener or pin curls.
Doesn’t really matter as long as it’s mostly curly.
Pull the hair up into a high pony tail.
Use fingers not a brush so it’s not too neat.
Leave a couple of the curls hanging on one side.
Twist the ponytail once and bunch to the scalp.
Scrunch the curls towards the scalp and pin in place.
Bunch most at the top and over one side.
Fix up any curls which need it with the straightener.
Add lots of hairspray.
Add flower hair pins all over the place.
Taadaa finished.
Quickly, send more photos to the housemate.
Thanks for watching, see you next time.

Today on Violet Vision. Easy hime style hair.
You need bobby pins, teasing comb, hair spray and bow.s
The finished look.
Start by brushing your hair.
Take a once inche section at the front from ear to ear and clip to the side.
Pull up and tease into a gigantic puff.
To tease, drap the comb from the tips to the root of the hair so it scrunches in on itself.
And tease it some more.
Grab the puff in your hand and shape it into a ball by rolling backwards.
Pin it in place at the base.
Spray and smooth over into shape with your hands.
Unclip the front section.
and split it into 3 sections: left, center, right.
Lightly tease it on the back side.
Brush through the front side.
Pin it in place at the base of the puff.
Spray and tease the back.
Brush the front and pull up, back over the puff and across the opposite side.
Pin in place once at the base of the puff and once at the top/back.
Repeat on the other side.
Brush up, spray, tease the back.
Brush the front, lay over the puff and pin to the opposite side.
Spray all over to secure.
Now is a good time for progress photos.
Use curling tongs or a straightener to create loose curls all over the rest of the hair.
This might take a while.
Separate the curls with your fingers and comb near the roots.
Tease the roots to give it volume and less of a perfect feel.
Repeat on the other side.
Fluff out the curls and give everything a spray.
If you need to just add more pins.
And a pretty bow.
Send photos to your friends so they can giggle at your transformation.

Striped nail art tutorials.
What you need:
base colour polish (light green), white nail polish, clear polish, thin long nail art brush.
First thing is to clean and prep your nails.
If you use a base coat apply this now.
Lay down a base coat of colour.
I used 2 coats to get a smooth finish.
Wait until the polish is completely dry.
This is the type of nail art brush you need.
It’s long, thin and flexible.
Clean your brush and dip it in white polish.
Starting from the furtherest side of the nail, gently drag the brush diagonally from one side of the nail to the other.
Repeat on either side until the whole thing is covered.
It’s easier to place the whole brush on the nail and gently drag the nail away to great perfect lines.
Add a clear top coat and you’re all done!
This style looks particularly nice with jewels or stickers added over the top.
I hope you found the tutorial useful, for more information please visit violetlebeaux.com

Nautical Nail Art Tutorial.
What you need:
Base colour polish (dark blue), white nail polish, red nail polish, gold glitter polish, dark blue gitter polish, clear polish, thin long nail art brush, red star diamantes.
First thing is to clean and prep your nails.
If you use a base coat, apply this now.
Lay down a base coat of colour.
I needed a couple of coats to make it opaque.
These nails have 3 different designs for each finger.
Here’s number 1:
Load your thin brush with red polish.
Apply a stripe down one side of the nail.
Fill it in with polish.
Repeat on another nail on the other side.
Now load your brush with white and draw 2 horizontal stripes from the red to the edge of the nail.
Clean up any mistakes with an orange stick.
Wait for it to dry then add a gold stripe on the edge of red.
On the next nail make 3 horizontal stripes in dark blue glitter.
Add gold stripes in between the blue ones.
While the polish is still wet add some red diamante stars in a line down the center.
Now let’s do the thumbs.
using the thin brush, add a diagonal stripe of red polish across the tip.
Once it’s dry, add a white stripe over the edge.
Using the gold glitter polish, paint an anchor.
Start with a line down the center, add a cross and dot to the top then a curve at the bottom with arrows on each side.
Finish by repeating the designs on all nails.
And give them a clear coat over the top.
All finished.
I hope you found the tutorial useful.
