Bioderma Crealine AR

Obtained: PR provided.

Thoughts:

After the success I had with the other Bioderma products I was looking forward to trying this one. It was recommended to me after I had a particularly nasty allergic reaction to some eyelash glue as it helps remove redness and helps problem skin. When I have reactions I get eczema too and this has ingredients to help correct that.

It did! Really really well actually 😀

Basically it is a green tinted moisturiser to be used daily to help sensitive skin with redness. I personally didn’t think the green tint reduced any redness visibly because it’s such a thin solution that is absorbed into the skin right away. It made my skin feel really smooth and great instantly and it also helped to remove the eczema within around a week. Anything that means less eczema is a good thing in my books!

The formula is Fragrance-free, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic which I love.

The biggest thing I can say about this is that it really did help my skin, after prolonged daily use I can really see the difference in my skin’s texture and tone so I think that’s the biggest positive of all. Love it!

So this was another positive experience with the Bioderma range and it makes me want to not bother even testing other skin care products anymore and just stick with this range exclusively.
Would I buy Bioderma Crealine AR again: Yes, absolutely!

Yellow Face Shop Nail Polish

Price: $4

Obtained: Came free with some of my other purchases

Thoughts:

I love the finish on this polish, it’s so creamy and cute and it has a very slight shimmer through it which looks great in the sun but isn’t too overpowering. It’s quite opaque and perfect for Spring and Summer themed nails. I think it would go well with Konad because of the consistency.

Would I buy Yellow Face Shop Nail Polish again: Yes it’s a nice canary colour.

Cosmetics Plus Blue Nail Polish

Price: Around $4

Obtained: Bought

Thoughts:

This polish is a bit of a mystery, no brand name, no markings, no nothing and no information from the shop staff. It’s a pity because it’s an awesome polish and I would love to know where it comes from so I could buy more in the range now that I don’t have any Cosmetics Plus near me.

So this one is an interesting blue/green. I don’t think it would be suitable for konad because it’s such a subtle colour. Still very pretty and it goes really well with a lot of other polishes in the range.

Would I buy Cosmetics Plus Blue Nail Polish again: I personally wouldn’t buy it but considering other people’s reactions I would suggest testing it out in store for yourself before making a decision.

Cosmetics Plus Mystery Orange Nail Polish

Price: Around $4 from what I remember

Obtained: Bought

It’s a pity because it’s an awesome polish and I would love to know where it comes from so I could buy more in the range now that I don’t have any Cosmetics Plus near me. Two coats and it’s opaque and it’s a very bright orange with a gold shimmer. It looks amazing in the sun but is very hard to catch on camera.

Would I buy Cosmetics Plus Mystery Orange Nail Polish again: Yep, if I could get some more information on it I would love some other colours in the range.

Sally Hansen Honeymoon Red Nail Polish

Price: $3.99 at Target at the moment

Obtained: In a birthday gift set

Thoughts:

This is a great red, it’s bright and has a cool base. It’s the ultimate vampy kind of colour. It’s opaque enough to use with Konad and also makes a very nice base colour for nail art. My personal favorite design using this is a red base with white lace over the top.

Would I buy Sally Hansen Honeymoon Red Nail Polish again: Yep, great finish, nice colour and lovely formula. Great price now too.

OPI Alpine Snow White Nail Polish

Price: Varies

Obtained: PR provided.

Thoughts:

Unfortunately this falls into the trap that a lot of white polishes fall into: being so thick the consistency is almost like liquid paper. So while it’s super opaque and great for konad stamps, it is no good as a base coat or for full nails.

Would I buy OPI Alpine Snow White Nail Polish again: Probably not unless I wanted it exclusively for konad stamping.
