Simple braided bun tutorial. This is a very elegant style and good for hiding bright colours like my pink if you need to 😉 .

Classic Braid Bun Hairstyle Instructions
Today I’ll be showing how I do a basic braided bun.
It looks a lot harder than it is but a basic knowledge of braiding is needed for this one.
Start by taking a small section of hair at the top.
I’ll show you from the back so you can actually see what’s going on.
Braid the hair around half way down and then continue plaiting until it reaches the neck,
Tie off with a hair tie.
Plait the rest of the hair loosely.
Sometimes it can be easier to do this over the shoulder if you have long hair.
Roll it up into a ball and pin it to the head at the neck.
Pull the plait so it loosens with your fingers.
The hair tie prevents it from coming undone but it will be very loose.
Roll the ends of it underneath and pin it over where the first plait was pinned.
The loose braid will fall around it to become a very stylish updo.
All done!
You can see it gives quite a lot of volume.
I hope this was a useful video, please check out the blog post linked in the description for more information and a photo tutorial.
Thanks so much for watching!
Bye!
