As I mentioned earlier in the week my Christmas present came very early this year, a new camera! I’ll be writing up a full review including seeing whether it lives up to the adorable advertisements but I thought in the mean time maybe you would enjoy some snapshots from the first night I took it for a spin! I’ve split this post into two parts because there were so many photos so one today and one tomorrow!
This is the first photo I took with it, James always takes his first shot with a new camera of me so I wanted it to be of us… some kind of silly idea of good luck etc ^_^

Of course then James completely ruins that by taking unclassy photos of me eating >_< Even sepia mode doesn’t help that. Testing out some of the modes…
It even makes my terribly unattractive lunch look good.

This is my photo to register James’ face so now when I take photos of him it always knows who he is XD So pointless but I love stuff like that!
There wasn’t really anything good to take photos of at home so I stuck to taking them of MacGyver on tv XD Yeah.. you pour that water Mac!
Going out to check the mail ended up being a good cam-whoring opportunity because I had to do work for the rest of the afternoon.
The herb plant out my window, I really want a window box but James would have to take care of it XD

So many pretty things around town that day too, or rather there were probably the same amount of them but I was just looking around rather than rushing off somewhere!
Buttons at Lincraft, I need to find somewhere else to buy Bunny eyes because they don’t seem to stock them anymore ;_; I’m getting ready to put the first batch of bunnies up for sale, yay!
Random street art… ugh I can’t believe I’m one of those people who take photos of street art… Birds really creep me out though!
I think I took all the photos I always take like of the horses and buildings just to see if I could do them better… so sorry for the doubles XD
I did get my revenge though, James always tried to make me stand in the middle of the tram tracks to take photos and that makes me nervous so I made him do it for once! He was not so nervous…
I mostly seem to have taken photos of things with pretty colours, clearly I am attracted to shiny things!
I want to decorate my house with all of these glittery trees and pretty papers
We walked past this mini lake thing which had some kind of art installation underneath through the glass.
And one last one of me! Apparently I took most of the interesting photos on the second half of the night haha!
