Lupicia Grenada Described as:
A tropical black tea flavoured with guava and papaya. Blended with real fruit pieces and the petals of southern flowers, Grenada is sure to transport you to the tropics.
I think:
Kim turned me on to Lupicia teas, the man that works there is so friendly and helpful. He really knows his stuff too so I love going there! This is a great tea with breakfast, it’s light and refreshing and smells great :D Super fruity and delicious!

Twinings Traditional Afternoon
Described as:
This tea has intense flavours and is a perfect pick-me-up to get you through the remainder of the day, no matter what you are doing.
I think:
This is my ultimate brain fuzz removing tea. In the morning or the afternoon… or any time when I’m not focusing as much as I should be XD Stroooong and delicious with several sugars and milk. My favorite way to have black tea is with 3 sugars and a tiny bit of milk. James doesn’t even drink tea, in fact he hates it unless it’s ice tea but he’s so good at making it now!

T2 Sleep Tight
Described as:
This light, soft and soothing herb blend is for when the day is done and sweet dreams are all that is left. Gentle lemony mintiness from lemon balm combines with the sweet perfume of rose, lavender and jasmine. Calming and quiet, warming, mild and muted, this is a glorious way to say goodnight.
I think:
This tea is some kind of magic, I don’t know what it is that makes it so relaxing to sip but a cup of this will put me right into sleep mode at the end of the night. I like this one plane and non-sugary for maximum effect :D

Zesta Jasmine Green Tea
Described as:
… no clue actually, their website appears to be non-functional XD
I think:
This is perfect for Winter, I like jasmine/green blends even more when they have mint in them but this one is pretty yummy too! Last Winter I practically had this stuff on tap, such a nice way to keep warm when it’s freezing outside.

Madam Flavour Green Jasmine and Pear
Described as:
For me, the scent of Jasmine evokes memories of the exotic tea salon tucked away in the Marais district of Paris where I had my first cup of this classic tea with my mother. We’d been happily wandering the streets of her childhood all day…
Green tea brings me back to earth. A smooth Chinese green, full of health-giving properties.
I think:
The lovely Stef turned me on to this one. My tea shelf is a mix of fancy stuff and grocery store stuff. I can tell the difference but this one is so nice it doesn’t taste like supermarket tea even though it is. With a tiny bit of sugar added it’s absolutely delicious so thank you for the awesome recommendation Stef!

What about you guys? Do you have all time favorite teas or are you totally obsessed with a particular one right now? Send me your recommendations so I can give them a try!
Have you guys seen those magic Breville tea making contraptions? Michael from Craving Tech wrote about them a while ago and ever since I’ve totally wanted one, they look so cool! James said that it made my tea automatically he’d have no use anymore though hahaha XD |
I love Darjeeling. I love peppermint. I think my favorite is Earl Grey hand blended with lavender and served with cream, sugar and, vanilla.
Mmm peppermint tea is so yummy! I’ve never tried Earl Grey with lavender, I don’t actually like Earl Grey but I think it might be improved a lot with lavender!
I love drinking tea hehe.
Oddly enough I got a few samples of ‘twinings’ tea in the mail the other day.
I like green tea, matcha, chai tea and anything with ‘milk tea’ in it xD.
Haha good timing!
I can’t live without tea. My boyfriends mum has one of those aromatic tea making type contraption. I don’t like it. It’s weird and noisy. But if you buy one and it’s good, let me know.
I love Tetley’s decaffeinated and T2 Turkish Apple – yum!
Lee x
Oo it’s noisy? I don’t think I want it if it’s noisy, kind of removes the relaxation part *_* I’ll see if I can try one in store first and see what it’se like!
I have too many tea obsessions and they change too quickly. It’s strange that you posted about teas today, I have a tea post lined up for Saturday d(^_^)b
We had a T2 store here in Auckland until earlier this month, and now they are gone and I have limited access. My current favourite tea is the Spicy Chai from Aaah Tea. We Kiwis don’t have quite as much choice as you Aussies! Here’s their website though, if you wanted a look http://www.aaahtea.co.nz/ ^_^
Haha great minds think alike! That sucks about T2 closing down, maybe you could still order off their website? Thank you for the website, I’m off to check it out now :D
I love tea, I’m actually on the hunt for new teas to so I’ll definitely have to try some of these out. I’m such a teas addict! xoxo
Haha I think all the best people are tea addicts ;)
Aww you have the cutest teapot (last picture) to accompany your tea! I’ve only ever tried black tea…. with sugar + condensed milk of course! It’s so yummy! I have to try the green and T2 tea you’ve recommended!
Aww thank you! I’ve never tried tea with condensed milk, that sounds so sweet! I’ll have to give it a go!
I love this post!! So cute that you have so many teas!! Have you tried the wedgewood teas? I like the original ^^
Ooo no I haven’t tried wedgewood teas, same company as the china right? Going to go look it up!
I love Twinings’ Irish Breakfast tea~ Also Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Green tea (decaffeinated green tea with lemongrass. This store here called Whole Foods (not sure if it exists outside the US) has their store-brand version that’s organic and slightly different, I drink that a lot, too.
I will definitely try to find that “Traditional Afternoon” tea. I think it might be called “English Afternoon” tea here… or is that something different? I don’t know…
I haven’t seen Whole Foods here but I’m definitely going to see if I can hunt it out! I think Traditional Afternoon and English Afternoon are probably the same thing, definitely should try it, it’s super yummy!
I LOVE buyomg loose tea, from a little store not far from my house! Now I have way too much! My current favorites are a strawberries & cream rooibos, which I got to make my husband sweet tea with, over the summer, but is delicious! My other favorite is rose hip herbal tea! Drinking this has become necessary whenever I’m playing video games that involve shooting someone, though I don’t know how that happened XD
I loooove strawberries and cream too! Haha so cute to drink it while playing video games XD
Oh my! Love T2 teas.
My top three fav is Gorgeous Geisha, Sleep Tight and French Earl Grey.
Also Red Fancy Fruit and Melbourne Breakfast!
As for classics, I love Chamomile with a dash of honey!
YUM!
I totally love Sleep Tight too :D I haven’t tried Melbourne Breakfast yet but it’s on my list for next!
Yay, a tea post! :D I love all of your photos of the tea~. You have so many pretty tea cups and such! And the Lupicia Granada has such a gorgeous brewed color, wow. :O
I love strong tea, and I love Twinings, so I’ll definitely have to try their Traditional Afternoon. I like their breakfast teas and their raspberry tea, too~. The T2 sounds like it would be nice for me, as well~.
Celestial Seasonings makes a holiday-season tea called Nutcracker Sweet; it’s a black tea with vanilla. It’s tasty but weak, but I would recommend it anyway. :3
Oh yes, the Lupicia is so good, you really have to try it! I haven’t found Celestial Seasonings here yet, everyone keeps talking about it though so I’ll have to look harder XD
I love tea – hot or iced – and my husband likes it even more than I do I think. For grocery store tea I like Tazo or Stash. If I’m ordering in the U.S. I like Adagio.com or if you are every in Salzburg I highly recommend http://www.tee.co.at – located around the corner from Mozart’s house. We also have a nice collection of Japanese teas from all over. We usually transfer them to small glass jars to keep them fresh – we cut out the name and tape it to the jar. Then we bought a little shelf that fits in the cabinet so we can have two layers of jars. The Adagio teas come in cute little tins – so we don’t transfer those. I love that pink & black teapot!
Wow really? James hates tea XD He’s so good at making it though! Thank you so much for the links, totally going to look now, you guys are feeding my addiction!!
So much tea! :D
I want a drink now hehe
Hahaha I’ll totally post you some ;)
I am a huge tea addict- I drink a pot most afternoon/evenings, and I’ve tried all sorts of things but I keep coming back to Just Us Earl Grey. It’s so aromatic, just opening the bag is delicious, and the tea is super tasty. If I’m really sick I’ll drink some green tea, but not often.
I can’t get into Earl Grey for some reason, it just makes me feel a bit ill, some of the blends people have mentioned here are so interesting though that I want to give it another try!
You have the most lovely collection of tea accessories!!! <3
:D Thanks lovely, I’ll totally have a tea party when you come!
I worked in a teashop for three years, so I’m a little snobbish about my tea now, which is a pity. When I go out to restaurants, I can usually tell what brand of tea they use just by tasting it! My favorite tea of all time though is probably a tie between First Flush Darjeeling and an oolong tea that we got at work that I cannot spell correctly for the life of me.
Haha tea snobbery is never a bad thing, the more tea knowledge the better :D
I love your tea cup collection! I collect tea cups myself, so I always like to see what others have in their cupboards.
I love tea cups too, I have such a hard time not buying them whenever we see some XD
I love that pink teapot! So cute!
My tea habits change with the seasons as well. In the summer, I pretty much live off of Teavanna’s ‘Moroccan Mint’ and ‘Raspberry Riot Mate’ teas, both iced of course! Now that its fall in the US, I’ve been switching between Harney & Son’s ‘Vanilla Comoro’: a decaf black tea flavored with vanilla, and Octavia Tea’s ‘Amber Dragon’: a roasted Oolong tea with (to quote the box) “a deep, rich flavor with notes of dark chocolate, apricot and honey”. Both are naturally sweet enough for me to not want sweetener with them, but a little soy milk in the Vanilla Comoro is decadent enough to be dessert!
I love mint too but I’ve never tried anything from Teavanna, omg so many new things to add to my list to try! Thank so so much :D
ohh~ I love tea! I’m totally going to try some out! ^^
I hope you find some you like :D
For me, I love chai a ton. I think my all time favorite chai was one by this company called Teavannah. It was so, so delicious. I also like darjeeling tea a lot. For herbal teas, I love peppermint the most, but I also like chamomile and raspberry tea. All of those are the teas I drink at home, mostly they’re grocery store brand. But out and about, I love milk tea and pomegranate or passion fruit tea (I can never remember which one it is!). Always wanted to try bubble tea, though. There aren’t any stores near me for it.
I’ve only ever tried one chai tea, everyone’s given so many recommendations I want to try them all :D
i love tea!!
mmm i’m craving it now lol!
(link removed, see comments policy ~Violet)
You should have some ^_^
Even though I’m a total coffee addict, I do love tea as well and find that tea later in the day doesn’t keep me awake like coffee does. I usually go for the supermarket brands for black teas but will splurge out for fruit teas. I have a total thing for the rose + tea combo esp teas with rose petals in them. Tastes good and looks so pretty (a bit of a bugger to clean though!)
I completely agree about tea later in the day. YES! I love those rose petal teas but they are so annoying to clean XD
I am a total tea fiend! I actually do have a shelf that is dedicated to housing all the different varieties of tea that I’ve emassed. I find it hard to choose a favorite, but I think that Taylor and Harrogate Earl Grey has to be up there. I also love Oolong tea, Dilmah’s Jasmine green tea, T2′s Madagascan Vanilla and T2′s Ruby Red Rosehip.
I knew you would be :D That T2 Red Ruby sounds delicious!
I love tea. It became more addictive to me than coffee.
Unfortunately I just realised this Twinings traditional afternoon tea isn´t available in Austria :( I´d really like to try it… So now I have to stick with my lady grey ^^
I just blogged about tea myself ^^ http://nerdsweetmeat.blogspot.com/2011/09/favourite-tea.html
Thanks for the inspiration, Jana_Ellena
Aww that sucks that it’s not available there :( Hopefully they bring it soon!
I am crazy for Oolong tea – and most tea shops IF they have any, will have only 1 or 2 varieties. boooh. I’ve had Orchid Oolong tea from 2 different companies and that was my favorite so far! YUM!
I’ve only tried Oolong a couple of times but never any fancy varieties *adds to my list*
