Outfits!
My last pair of white stockings died this month so most of my outfits have been much darker to accomodate. Must remember to go looking for a place to buy more white and cream ones so I can go back to normal!

Oh that’s so exciting that you bought a sewing machine! Haha I don’t think my first few dresses were wearable either so don’t stress about it, it’s all about practice :D
There’s a dance clothing store near my work that has an amazing selection of tights. I go past each day, mesmerized by the colours. They’re a bit pricey, but they look like they’re excellent quality. They’re very opaque, so they’d probably be gorgeously warm too.
I love your collection of tartan dresses. I usually wear loads of tartan in winter, but this year I’ve barely touched it.

It’s so clever to wear an undress under your other dress! I’ve done that lately with some skirts but it’s not something you usually think of when getting dressed, you know? But it’s a great idea.
I love layering clothes like that :D Especially if I’m not sure if it’s too short by itself haha!

I am a burlesque dancer and vintage wearer from Brazil who has a thing for japanese fashion, specially lolita.
As for your tights problem, may I suggest ballet tights. They are nice and thick, usually in spandex (I buy the supplex ones), and have creamy girly colors, such as white and baby doll pink. And they are cheap for the quality.

Maybe you could try checking out ballet stores for white stockings? That’s where I got mine, though it was many years ago. Could be worth a try though?
