Help Heal Japan Charity

I think most people are aware of the situation in Japan. I just wanted to bring this charity to Australian reader’s attention in case they can help at all.

Help Heal Japan is a simple little idea to help raise funds for Japan: Get patrons at Japanese restaurants to donate $2 for chopsticks, which of course is normally free.

BMF ad agency took the idea up and within a week we launched the ‘Help Heal Japan’ campaign.

So far we have over 100 Japanese restaurants on board, in 5 states (NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD, WA) with more to come!

All proceeds go to the Australian Red Cross – Japan and Asia Pacific Disaster Appeal.

I’ve eaten at a lot of the restaurants participating and you’ve probably seen some of them mentioned on this blog before. If you have the means to help, please check the page out.
