Recent Craft Project Beaded Milkshake^_^
Dec 18, 2010 by Violet
Recently the lovely BGDino sent me a little present of a craft kit from Daiso :D

I’ve never done any bead craft things like this so I was a little scared when I saw the instructions were all in Japanese and super complicated looking XD

|

Buuut I muddled through with my beginner’s skills (in both beading and language) and eventually got it done :D Though I did take a whole bunch of photos along the way to make a tutorial out of it… the instructions seemed so hard to explain I thought it would probably be better to just post a couple of progress shots instead *_*
I had to make the cup part first and the whole thing was done with 2 threads working at once…

It was all about looping the two threads around each other to form circle after circle.

Then once I got to the top the middle was filled with beads to be the milkshake…

And finished!

I think this is one of the most fiddly crafts I’ve ever done… but the result was so worth it!

I love it and I can’t wait to find a place to hang it :D I think I want to try to doing more little things like this too! What’s the most complicated fiddly thing you guys have ever made? |
woooow so cute ^^

I think the fiddliest craft I have ever done would be a beaded necklace that used lots of looping to build it up. That or maybe my air dried clay charms! Getting the paint job right on them before I glaze them is soooooo fiddly! That’s why I don’t make them very often…. = ^ =
I would love to learn a better painting technique, but I haven’t found one yet.

Ah yes air dry clay can be very annoying!
Hmmm my most fiddly craft project… probably either sewing a bag for the first time (due to lack of skills) or helping to make lots of teeny weeny paper cranes for someone’s birthday present.

Paper cranes are so much fun! Teeny ones would be so hard though, I’m really bad at origami XD
It’s really cute:)) These small but detailed pretty things make me happy!

Wow…Your pages here are so cute!!
Thank you :)
Hope that this Christmas, I can also receive such a gift!
I hope you get something nice :)
That looks hard. Beading is hard enough when the directions are in english @_@ Very impressive <3
Haha it was a bit hard XD I’m glad it didn’t turn out horribly!
