  1. I have that guide! Except I have the Sydney one because I’m from Sydney. It is pretty awesome but I’ve found quite a few of the places don’t exist anymore, or have moved. Awesome photos by the way! You’re looking adorable as always =]

    • Thanks Lauren! I was surprised how much details went into the book it’s fantastic. I wonder if there’s a more up to date version?

      • Unfortunately they don’t =[ I went on the website and got all excited because it said ‘New Updated Sydney Edition’ but that was in 2006 and it’s the same guide I have.
I agree, so many details! It’s good because they actually went to all the shops to review them and I like the way it says what percent of each type of items each store has. I hope they do bring out an updated Sydney version.

  2. I love these snapshots! I’ll send you some snail mail too, if you like:)

Is that leopard dress from Valley Girl? It looks very similar to one I have from there hehe. By the way I love your blog and you are incredibly cute!

  5. My last week was excellent and I hope yours was too. I love these snapshots. That blue dress was very pretty and I think I might have bought it @o@ I adore Regency clothes. Black FUNGUS? YUCK! I would have passed completely, without even trying it. And James’ sponge cake looks mighty tasty. I do love cake… Thanks for posting!

  6. The pink flowered skirt looks cute, can’t wait to see how you co-ordinate it! And I totally agree with you that blue dress is very Pride and Prejudice!

    • Haha I was very weirded out by it but there were so many other good foods I had to try it XD Food adventure!

  10. I’m not fond of green tea it always tastes like grass to me. But I’ve been drinking a lot of black tea in an attempt to wane myself off of soda. I have one that’s vanilla caramel truffle. Sooooo good!

    • Oh that sounds delicious! James tried to cut out soda for a while too though he just replaced it with cordial so it was just as unhealthy XD

  11. The black fungus is one of the more important ingredients used in Chinese cooking. not only that, it is said to be good for the skin. :)

    • I actually really liked the taste! I think it’s just the name fungus that’s kind of off putting from a Western perspective XD If it’s good for the skin I’ll have to try making something with it!

I couldn’t live without tea. I love it too too much! You should try to find a T2 store, I know there’s one in Melbourne Central. The layout of the store is very enticing and they have heaps of green tea. All flavours of tea, actually. I love Turkish Apple and Monk Pear. And Rosebud. Yum :)
Plus, because I know you love chocolate, you should also keep your eye out for Max Brenner (again, there is one in Melbourne Central).
Tea and chocolate – who needs anything else?!

    • There is a T2 store right near my house actually, it’s fantastic! James’ favorite from there is Turkish Apple while mine is Strawberries and Cream. It’s heavenly! I’ve seen the Max Brenner in MC but I haven’t tried it yet, totally on my list though :D Completely agree with you, I could live off tea and chocolate!

  13. Great pics! I have the same book, it’s great :D

That blue dress makes me think you look like Wendy from Peter Pan! I couldn’t help but crack up at that licensee plate, how strange…
