| Unfortunately some of my photos didn’t turn out well as the plastic displays were clear and the camera had trouble focusing on them.
To give you an idea of what my jewelery stand looks like I’ve outlined it in pink here:

To make your own, just cut that shape out of cardboard. Mine has a stand that folds back but depending on where you’re going to be putting it, that might be unnecessary.
Cut a section of the paper or fabric out which is big enough to cover the display completely and fold around the sides to the edges are hidden.

Use your glue gun to stick the base to the back of the paper.

Roll it forward and stick the top down as well. My stand was slightly curved so getting the paper lined up was a little hard. Make sure it’s perfect before you glue.

Cut the excess paper around the sides off so there is only a few inches of overhang.

Now fold the extra around the sides and carefully glue in place.

Repeat on the other side like this:

When you get to the curved bits just snip the paper ever few centimeters so you can fold it around the curve.

Glue this in place too…

This is how the other side looks:

I repeated this on all 4 of the ones I had:

Now it’s time to add some decoration. I didn’t want anything that would take away from the jewelery so I chose a fine white lace. You could also use ribbon or anything else glue-able.

I added the lace around the edges using a small amount of glue and that’s it ^_^ A nice simple craft which can be done in a few minutes.

Once I finish my cupboard re-organisation then you can see them all in action :D |
Adorable !! :D
:D Thanks!
They’re super cute!

Thanks ^_^
Those are so simple and pretty :) right now I’m using an old key catcher that I used to have by the front door. It looks cute with my decore.
Oh that sounds so cute!
Good one! I’m currently using boring old faux leather ones that could definitely use a bit of sprucing up like yours :)

You should totally try to cover them :D
Fabulous! I love them, they are very cute. I’m currently using a re-fashioned pin board and easle which I blogged about a little while ago, http://ladyinresidence.blogspot.com/2010/09/accessories.html
But I love the idea of these, they would look really cute hung on a wall too! ;)

Oh that’s very sweet ^_^
Practical AND cute! I use a big black multi-pocket hanging organiser thingy which wins on the practical side but admittedly is a bit of a fail on cuteness… :P

Haha add more lace? I tried the multi hanger thingies but I found that I was too lazy to sort through them and find what I needed XD
Ooooh they look awesome! Gotta dig out my glue gun!

Yay! I can’t wait to see your version!
Very cute, and definitely much prettier with your embellishment! All my jewelry is currently in a “jewelry cabinet” I made out of old cardboard boxes when I was 12… Maybe it’s time for an upgrade XD

Heehee I used to make cardboard jewelry cabinets too!
I love this! I’d try it myself if I had more necklaces.

Yay! Heehee sounds like a good excuse to buy more necklaces!
Oh Violet i’m sorry i’m a bit late on this one, but this is an amazing idea! You’re so inspirational and helpful… sometimes when I really need to think up of a way to display something, I wish I could just download your brain for a minute :P.
