Well, my weekend is only just beginning. But most of the day, I’ve helped my family set up for my sister’s birthday party tomorrow (Sunday for us). Excited, but nervous. Hope it goes well.
Anyways, love, love, LOVE the nails. Those roses are just stunning, wish I knew how to paint them. You’re just so handy at everything! Hope your weekend was (is) good.

They are surprisingly easy if you have a small enough brush, I’ll do a tut ^_^

Those are soooo pretty!! The roses turned out really cute! For the 3D parts, I especially like the little bows ^_^

my weekend has been quite boring. i did housework, tried to study, went to study group, did craft and ate takeaway with a dvd last night, bought a pair of shoes on eBay today… not that interesting :P

i had an awesome weekend. met up with my gyaru-sa (gal circle) – went for lunch and took lots of purikura AND got filmed for a purikura promotional video. it was ace :)
love the nails :) i too am trying to conquer 3d acrylic. bought all the supplies couple of months ago but havent used them much soo farxxx

Hey Violet, so sorry about the lack of comments! I’ve been horribly busy and not even in a good way. It’s more like my friends aren’t getting along… I feel like i’m a high school again over how dramatic these fights are! I can’t believe that i’m 21 and I still have to deal with this :(.
Anyway, I was really impressed with your DIY furniture! Especially that chair, I mean DIY furniture usually looks a little dodgy but the chair looks like something you could get from a store! Haha your brain is amazing.
I’m also super impressed with your macaron tower, i’ve never had much luck with macarons… well they’ve never failed spectacularly, but they’ve never come out perfect despite how careful I am. Well, this weekend my brilliant boyfriend had the idea that I should make macarons (which I am not confident in) for a friend’s gathering over the weekend even though I wanted to make these chocolate toffee cookies (which I can do with my eyes closed, and they’re super yummy and impressive!) but whatever, we all decided it would be fun to make macarons. Let’s just say i’ve never seen such… lopsided ‘macarons’ in my life! It just makes me appreciate your tower even more!
Ah this comment is getting huge and I haven’t even gotten to your nails, haha, they’re lovely! I did notice a sudden giant trend in floral patterns in Japan when I went but the girls went totally overboard: floral skirts, shirts and nails and right now i’m still recovering from what I called a ‘botanical invasion’ of my eyes. You’re getting pretty good at acrylics I think! I’m hopeless so I can’t talk, but I love the bow and the frills, but the red flower is a bit… ahem lol.
Anyway I hope you’ll have a great week and i’m going to try to ignore my friends and get back into the blogging groove!

I’m really glad you’ve been enjoying the posts though! Heehee I’m sure that even if your macarons were lopsided they were delicious! Oh yes the floral trend in Japan at the moment is a little crazy >_< I'm definitely not very good at acrylics yet, though practice makes perfect! I think the red flower looked much more defined before the gel top coat mushed over all the details hahaha! I will master flowers someday!! Good luck getting back to blogging and with your friends!
