We bought one of those family meals from MacDonalds and the box was so comically big so I had to get a snap shot!
Before we moved James really got into baking, he made us fresh bread all the time :D He was very sad when we couldn’t bring his parents breadmaker with us but they brought it down as a surprise last weekend! Woo yummy bread again :D
Being very silly with a face mask from the Face Shop which I’m totally addicted too. They make you look like a scary Egyptian Mummy though!

And the lovely Super Kawaii Mama and I indulging in bubble tea. This was my first one in Melbourne but I have to say that Bubble Cup is no where near as good as Easy Way. Yummy!
James is quite the baker, his special is chocolate chip pancakes from scratch!
My current favorite drink! This is soooo sweet and delicious. Very hard to find though so I’m hoarding a bottle in the back of my fridge heehee!

Omg this gigantic snake was outside our window in Brisbane!! Scared the hell out of me!
This was my delicious hot chocolate at our Pancake Manor going away dinner (the first of like 6 going away dinners!).
We’ve been meeting up with so many awesome people! Weekly lunch with the lovely Celeste is always fun. Although the first time, I ordered the spiciest pasta EVER without knowing >_< Totally my luck, I keep ordering spicy food by accident!

I’ve been taking every single chance I possibly can to try out hot chocolates around town too! Haha I should start reviewing them!

I’ve even started to try and cook nicer food at home. This steak is the fanciest thing I’ve ever made :D
Alice and I made macarons as well. We tried chocolate as well as green tea with redbean filling for a Japanese twist. They didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped because we couldn’t get the temperature in the oven right but still super yummy!
Oh and for those of you that keep asking for photos of me without make up… here’s one :)

Alice brought me flowers too, all of the friends we’ve made here are so lovely!!
These are some of the other macarons James and I made. They are lemon and… wait for it… BUENO FLAVOR!!! That’s right! I worked out how to make Bueno macarons, thus combining my two favorite things! YUM
These ones were a gift so I put them in a little bag and made a handmade sticker to go on it ^_^

I have so many more photos from other fun things and fun meet ups with new friends but I’m quite sleepy so next time ^_^ If anyone’s actually interested maybe I should do this once every few weeks. It’s a novelty for me to have this many interesting outings in such a short period of time!

I want to try making macarons! But they look so hard to get correct T-T !! But I will try one day ! I HAVE TO :D And whattttt? Easy way? There’s no way anything can be better than Bubble cup ? xD Although I don’t actually get much myself :| And the ones I do buy from is from “Happy Cup” … I get Love fruit ice blend with grape jelly – This is so yummmy !

I’m totally going to do that from now on :D Oh macarons can be very hard >_< The making part is really easy but you have to be really particular about the oven temperature, it's really hard! Easy Way is awesome, it's really sweet and milky tea, much stronger than Bubble Cup, less choice though. Yum!

I HATE snakes. If that had been in our back yard, our dog Riley would have had a fit and wanted to attack, but I probably would have ran away to hide.

Those macarons look tasty. I’ve never tried a macaron. Are they hard to make? I should try to make some one time, just to try them out.
That was the most adorable puppy ever! Was it for sale?! I need to fly over there just to buy one. I want a pomeranian, but there aren’t really any pet stores over here :P Plus, it probably wouldn’t be best with an overprotective dog and a super-scaredy cat.

I was so scared of the snake too *_* Macarons are quite hard to ake, it’s really easy to do but you have to be so precise about the oven temperature that it is very difficult :( I think it’s fun though! The puppy was for sale, I wanted to take him home but we aren’t allowed pets!

The drink that you say is your current favorite, what is it? Is it by chance rose flavored? Because I’m always looking for a new something or other that’s rose flavored.
I know! It’s adorable, I really want one :D Oh the drink is definitely rose flavored, it’s so insanely sweet I can only have a bit at a time. It’s like the definition of “pink” as a flavor. I’ve only recently discovered rose but I love it!

Yay ok more photo posts! They’ve only just brought out the McDonalds family packs here in Aus, they are like $20-30 and you get enough for 4 people. McDonalds is trying to be more family friendly with healthy things, I miss the old days!

I did a post with the recipe I use a while ago, if you check the “Tutorials” page it’s about half way down ^_^ I’ve tweaked the recipe now that we have a different oven though because it’s so unpredictable! And thank you so much for your compliment about me without make up, it’s such a lovely compliment!

Yep, they are my new signature dish :D The recipe is the basic chocolate macaron shells with a Bueno ganash, I’ll have to post a proper tutorial one of these days ^_^

There’s nothing weird about taking photos of puppies in pet stores! The majority of my photos are of puppies, kittens, baby rabbits and baby guinea pigs from pet stores, dogs in parks, cats in alleys, birds in trees… :)

I was wondering, what kind of outfits should I put together for Japan in Winter? I want to be warm but I also don’t want to end up the shape of a potato from heaps of layers XD How would I stay warm whilst still looking cool and cute?

I always look for jackets with a fitted waist so they look stylish as well as warm.
